may waited inside stefan's house and it was silent. may couldn't believe stefan had just moved on without her.
"i thought that you were forever. i thought that you would be the person i died next to. but now, you are just a stranger. a stranger who knows all of my secrets." may said not looking at him, she just kept her eyes on enzo.
"your friendship didn't mean nothing, may. it meant everything to me but our friendship just reminds me of lexi and damon." stefan said as may chuckled sadly.
"you don't think being your friend didn't remind me of lexi? damon killed her, we were both there and when it happened it took everything in me not to kill him. what kind of friend would i have been if i had of killed your brother?" may said before she heard a gasp.
she turned her head and saw that enzo had finally woken up.
him and may locked eyes and he saw the sad look on may's face.
"hey, caroline is in the car. i'll be there in a minute." may told enzo as he nodded and went out to the car.
"may, i'm sorry i didn't reach out. i just couldn't." stefan said before he went in the other room to talk to ivy.
may saw that stefan stepped outside and enzo came in making may follow him.
"enzo." may said seeing he had ivy by the neck.
stefan turned his head and stepped back inside, glaring at enzo.
"let her go." stefan said.
"okay." enzo said before he snapped ivy's neck.
"no." stefan said going to attack enzo but enzo pushed him down.
"i got a girl out there crying over you and one who's heart is broken because they care so much. and i'm here trying to figure out why because i can't see what's worth caring about. you know, damon once told me that he promised you an eternity of misery. and i remember thinking, well, what could his brother have ever done to inspire so much hatred? now i get it. you're not a brother to him. brothers don't give up. so anytime i see you doing anything that looks like you've done so... every time you try to start over in a life that's nothing but a lie... i will make you pay. i will be the one to bring you the misery you deserve." enzo said.
stefan tried to go after enzo again but enzo snapped stefan's neck.
"see? we're all still neck people." enzo said before he turned to may.
"you didn't have to kill ivy." may told him.
"let's just get out of here." enzo said placing his hand on the small of her back before they went back to the car.

may and enzo were meeting up for breakfast. enzo and caroline were the only people that may felt she had left in her life.
it was clear to her now that stefan had no intentions of coming back so she needed to get used to life without her.
may had gotten some blueberry waffles while enzo got some eggs, bacon and toast.
may was pouring syrup on her waffles when she got a call from stefan.
"ignore." may said before she declined his call.
"i take it you're still upset with him?" enzo asked her as she let out a sigh.
"i've known him for centuries and not once did he abandon me like this." may said as enzo placed his hand on top of hers.
