may, damon and elena went to the high school to go talk to alaric saltzman.
"well, don't you look alive." damon said.
"you can't hurt me." alaric told him.
"oh, i can hurt you all right." damon said as the two men got closer to each other.
"that's enough." may said standing in the middle of them.
"mr. saltzman. we need your help." elena said.
to explain the situation, they went to talk in his classroom so it would be more private.
"stefan's in the house. damon and may are vampires. they can't get in. we need you. i would go, but..." elena began but damon cut her off.
"but your life of valuable. yours, on the other hand, is..." damon trailed off.
"stefan told me about your ring." elena said.
"what about it?" alaric asked as may scoffed.
"are we gonna play this game?" may said.
"let me recap. you tried to kill me, i defended myself, you died. then according to may and my brother, your ring brought you back to life. am i, uh, leaving anything out?" damon asked.
"yeah, the part where i try and kill you again. only this time i don't miss." alaric said standing up from his seat.
"mr. saltzman. please. it's stefan." elena reminded him.
"i'm sorry, elena. it's not my problem." alaric told her.
"that's a shame. because the woman in charge of the crowd can help you find your wife." damon told him.
"you're lying." alaric said.
"am i? why don't you ask her for yourself? coward. come on, ladies." damon said as they started to walk to the exit.
"all right. wait. i'll go." alaric said making them turn to look at him.
"perfect let's get this plan started." may said.
alaric got out his weapons and laid them out on his desk.
"teacher by day, vampire hunter by night." damon said.
"i have you to thank for that." alaric told him.
"what are these?" elena asked looking at the darts.
"those are tranquilizer darts filled with vervain." alaric said.
"just get me in and i'll get stefan out." damon said.
"that's your plan? you're just gonna take them all on yourself?" elena said.
"yeah, damon i'm a lot older than you i can help." may said.
they saw elena pick up a vervain dart making may question.
"whoa. what are you doing?" alaric asked her.
"i'm going with you guys." elena replied.
"no, no, no, no way." damon said.
"you need me. i'll get in, you can distract them, then i'll get stefan out." elena said.
"you'll get yourself killed, you're not going in there." damon said.
"i'm going." elena said.
"so when you get me in, get out as quickly as you can. because may and i know how to sneak around where they can't hear us. you'll basically just be in the way." damon said.
