caroline, may and enzo were at a dinner getting some breakfast. they were in atlanta since they were looking for stefan's doppelgänger.
caroline's phone started to vibrate on the table and sloan's name popped up. both caroline and enzo reached for the phone but enzo answered.
"atlanta assassination squad. how may we be of service?" enzo said.
"because that's something you should say out loud in public." may mumbled.
"i take it you haven't located the doppelgänger yet?" sloan asked.
"you told us to find a nameless paramedic at the scene of a car accident. in a city full of freeways, fried green tomatoes and terrible drivers. it's not exactly as easy as it sounds." enzo told her.
"which is why i'm calling. the doppelgängers name is tom avery. and i just saw him deliver a patient to atlanta metro hospital." sloan said.
"she saw him? she did the vision thing again?" caroline asked before she grabbed the phone from enzo.
"i'll kill that bitch." may said.
"we had a deal. i find stefan's last living doppelgänger-" caroline began before sloan cut her off.
"tom." sloan corrected.
"tom. i take care of tom. and in return, you stop using stefan to psychically doppelbomb him. because every time you link them, you're frying stefan's brain." caroline said angrily.
"i don't give a damn about his brain. it's his blood that matters. and until stefan and elena are the last two doppelgängers on earth their blood is useless to me. so you better believe i will give stefan a back alley lobotomy if you fail to kill tom avery." sloan threatened.
may balled her fists up and enzo placed his hands on top of hers, calming her down.
"easy, love." enzo said as they locked eyes.
"well, i don't fail at things. so do it again and i'll kill you too." caroline said before she hung up.
she angrily put her phone down on the table and let out a sigh.
"i'll kill you too. like a perky blond angel of death. almost had me convinced." enzo said before drinking his tea.
"she may not convince you, but i definitely will when i rip sloan's heart from her chest." may said.

caroline went to go talk to the receptionist to see if she could lead them to tom.
meanwhile, may and enzo sat in the waiting room to wait for what caroline could find out.
"why did you tag along on his journey?" enzo asked her out of the blue.
"because stefan is my best friend." may said.
"right, but wouldn't you wanna stay by his side instead of joining me and caroline who are perfectly capable of killing tom avery by ourselves?" enzo asked as may let out a sigh.
"look, caroline doesn't trust you and i figured that could get complicated so i decided i might as well tag along." may said before caroline returned.
"so the receptionist doesn't know tom personally but i compelled her to call someone who does." caroline said to may making enzo glare at her.
