may and damon walked into elena's dorm room and they saw caroline in a towel.
"damon, may? towel knock." caroline said.
"caroline. no one care. no." damon said.
"sorry, caroline." may said.
"hey, where's elena?" damon asked caroline.
"i don't know. she probably went to the bonfire to get more intel on our weirdo professor." caroline replied.
"silas is here. he's with elena, pretending to be stefan. get dressed." damon said.
"i thought that stefan dropped his body in the quarry." caroline said.
"join the club. get dressed." damon said tossing her some of her clothes.
"oh, my god. oh, my god, elena was right. all summer, she's had this pit in her stomach about stefan." caroline said.
"yeah, me too. i've been dreaming about him." may said making damon look at her.
"what?" damon asked.
"what did elena say?" may asked caroline.
"i don't know, she just said that she had this weird feeling that something was wrong with him." caroline said.
"just put some clothes on and meet us out there. we need to find her." damon said tossing caroline her clothes back.
damon and may went outside of caroline's dorm and they waited for her to get dressed.

it was dark out and may, damon and caroline were at the bonfire. damon was telling them about his run in with silas.
"why would silas want to hurt her?" caroline asked.
"because he wants to hurt me." damon replied.
"you know, if you would have told the truth, all of this could have been avoided." caroline said.
"she's right." may said.
"gee, thanks, guys. your hindsight is invaluable in this situation." damon said before bumping into someone.
"watch where you're going, douche." the guy said to damon.
"mind your manners, douche." may said.
"have you seen elena gilbert?" damon asked the guy.
"i have no idea who that is. and if i were her, i'd probably run from you too." the guy replied.
"wrong answer." damon said before grabbing the guy by the throat.
caroline quickly pushed damon off of him and compelled the guy.
"forget all this and get out of here." caroline said before turning to damon.
"you have to calm down." caroline told him.
"we won't find elena like this." may said.
"he turned the entire town square into a hunting party for katherine. how am i supposed to calm down... when every single person here could be working for silas?" damon said.
"we'll find her." may told him reassuringly.
they finally found elena in a shed talking to a guy and damon punched him, knocking him out.
