"okay, what?" may asked as her stefan and damon walked down the stairs.
"isobel just showed up at the front doorstep." stefan said.
"what's she doing here?" damon asked.
isobel had showed up at elena's doorstep but unfortunately jenna answered the door.
"i don't know, that's what i'm gonna go find out." stefan said as they saw katherine was standing in the hallway.
"i don't think you should tell her that i'm here." katherine said.
"as if she gives a damn." may said as a snarky remark.
"what? why?" stefan asked her.
"it's better if she and john not know i stayed in town after i got out of the tomb." katherine said.
"you're the one in cahoots with them. you made a deal with john and almost got me killed." damon reminded her.
"i did what i had to do to get out of the tomb. now i'm reconsidering my alliance." katherine said with a smirk.
"what do you know?" stefan asked her.
"i know that i want klaus dead, which puts me squarely on team you. besides, if you two ever need me to swap places with elena again the less people know that i'm here, the better. think about it, stefan. come on. be smart." katherine said.
"the bitch has a point." may said.
"tell you what, why don't you call alaric and let him know his wife just showed up on his girlfriends doorstep?" stefan told damon as he left to go to elena's.
"i hate when he leaves me alone with you." may said glaring at katherine.

damon, may, bonnie and jeremy went over to the martin's apartment.
they opened the door and saw luka's dead body was still there.
damon waved his hand over the entrance which meant him and may didn't have to be invited in.
"yep, everybody's dead." damon said.
"could you be any less sensitive?" may asked him.
"we should pack up the grimoire. i spent years collecting them. i wanna make sure they're safe." bonnie said.
"you know, we could just get another match and cremate him." damon said.
"don't be disrespectful. not to him." bonnie said.
"fine. i'll bury him." damon said grabbing the body.
"what exactly are we looking for?" jeremy asked.
"according to luka's dad one of these contains a spell that will harness the energy left when a witch dies violently." bonnie said.
"i didnt know you and father witch were so close." damon joked as may smacked him.
"we weren't. but when he gave me my powers back, he gave me a message. if i can find the spot in town where the old salem witches were burned i can harness their energy to use when i need it." bonnie explained.
"great, we'll have to put that on our list of things to do today, harness ancient dead witch power." damon said.
"you know where the witches were burned?" bonnie asked him.
