My world is without color.
That might sound crazy to you, but don't freak out. In my world, you don't see color until you meet your soulmate. It may seem sad, but it's what we're all used to.
If two people meet online, they start to see more and more color when they talk. Usually one color at a time. Once they meet together they see in full color. It becomes bright, and it stays that way until the other either loses their life or don't talk again after they meet up for the first time. It's very sad.
However, some people never see in color. A lot of our population lose their soulmates due to tragedy and they never get to meet them.
People like them are stuck in black and white forever.
My goal is to never let that happen to me.
I want to see in color at some point. I'm seventeen. I'm almost an adult and I haven't met my soulmate. A good chunk of my friends, though, have.
My name is Serena York, and I will find my soulmate this year. Even if I have to travel across the world for them.
