What?! I haven't noticed anything! Am I... huh? I look down at the stuff around me. I still see zero color... for now.

It can't have been this soon already! We literally only started talking a month or so ago!

Okay, well, that's really kind of stupid to say since it literally happens instantly when you first meet, but... that's besides the point. I'm just utterly baffled by the fact that Lance is seeing some color. Probably because of me, too.

Wait a minute... Does this mean his "original" soulmate's gone, too?
That's interesting.

I quickly text him back.

'What? How? I haven't noticed anything...'

And now we wait for a response from him. I swear, if I don't hear from him again I may scream...

Oh, phew. There he is.

'You're... not?' I can hear the disappointment in the tone of the text. Yet, it also sounds like he's hopeful that I'm his soulmate and not someone else.

I pause, trying not to think of something that would disappoint him more. 'Not that I've noticed.'

I look around trying to find anything that my eyes spark color in.

Nothing, just as I thought. Hmm...

I decide to sleep on it.

Literally. I yawn and lean back on my bed, glancing at the clock. 11:00pm.

Yeah, I should probably go to sleep.
