Two days passed and Spencer and I continued to talk about him meeting Isla. Isla was able to convince her mom (with help from her dad) to let her see him, and I'm very excited for them. I don't know if they'll let her stay but I definitely think that once Spencer's able to move out he's moving out to Wales to stay with her. They most likely won't be able to afford another trip within a few years. It's most certain. I'm glad Spencer and Isla are happy. I just hope I'll be able to find that kind of happiness soon. Spencer calls Isla as we walk and I get to hear her voice for the first time. "'Ello, Spencer!" She says, her accent thick. I knew he said she had a thick accent but I never thought it sounded like that.

"It's evening time for you right now, isn't it, Isla?"
"Yes. But that's okay." Sounds like she's smiling from behind the phone.

"My sister and I are just on our way home from school. We're pretty much back now."

"Oh, awesome! Hi, Spencer's sister!"
"Hi, Isla." I giggle. "Nice to finally hear your voice."

"I hear a lot about you from Spencer," she admits, "He thinks you're the coolest."
I feel myself blush. "Does he now? I hear he 'hates my guts' all the time."

"Ah, sibling rivalries. Gotta love them. I don't have any siblings that live with me anymore. I'm the youngest."

"I wish we had younger siblings too. Spencer and I are twins and we have another older sister who lives with her soulmate in Australia. I wonder how she and Declan are doing..."

"I sometimes wonder about Savanna too, Serena. We should talk to her soon."
"It's like 3AM over there though."

"True. Maybe I'll message her."

"Sounds like a plan to me too, guys!" Isla calls. "Look- I gotta go for now. Hope to see you soon, Spencie~!"

He seems to blush at the nickname, rubbing at the back of his neck. "See you later, Isla."

Beep beep beep.

He hangs up the phone and looks at me. "Isn't she the cutest?"
"Definitely." We approach our front door and open it, racing inside. I go to my room and grab my laptop and begin on some homework. Boring, but I'd like to keep up on my studious reputation. I bring the textbooks out of my backpack, opening to the pages I needed to write about. In the other room, I hear Spencer typing away on his computer. He's probably getting ready to either a) message Savanna, or b) voice call with his 'dudes' as he calls them. I want to assume it's the first, but it is most likely the latter.

I just focus on my homework as our mom walks in again.
