I taught him the song and his verses pretty quickly. I was hoping he was a quick learner. And that... he was.

I'm really excited to see him and Evynne tomorrow. He left around 3pm, pretty tired from all the singing and learning, and I told my mom that he'd be back tomorrow and he'd introduce himself then. She would nod to me, letting me know that was cool with her.

The rest of the day was for family. Spencer, Mom, and I all watched a movie or two, ate good food, and just had mindless conversation. It was fun.

After spending the rest of the day with the family, I was really tired. I read the clock on my phone--it's only 10pm.

I should text Evynne, I think, ask her if she's still on for tomorrow.

I open my messages and open my conversation with Evynne. I read through some of the old text messages and smile at them. It's all her gushing over her soulmate.

Those two are so cute.

I start a new message in the box that says:

'You still coming over tomorrow?'

And now I wait. Evynne's a true night owl so there should be a pretty quick response. And I was right -- almost a minute later I notice that she's typing.

'Yes! See you tomorrow!'

I send a smiley face and a thumbs up back to her and turn my phone off, plugging it in. I stare up at the ceiling until I eventually doze off, the newly-added fairy lights in my room giving off a subtle, soft light.
