Gizelle shouts for me after a few moments and the two of us head into the house of the small family. It's not burning as badly, but it's still... burning. The family is safe, and I'm so glad that they are. I pull a mask over my face to prevent breathing in any smoke. Underneath her mask, I hear Gizelle tell me to take a double check around the house in case anyone was stuck while she helps the family out of their backyard. I nod to her, I swoop through the house, making sure to check every corner of it. I notice there's still a spot of the house in flames. I go out to find Gizelle, but it seems she's already gotten the family out. I start to head to the front of the house again to find her, but the fire's spreading again and trying to swallow me.

I manage to get to the front door and alert the rest of the team with the door closed. They panic along with me and start to work towards saving the house again. I run out of the house, Or, at least I tried. The door got stuck, but I managed to push the door down with my foot. The fire keeps spreading. I climb up to the roof, without my mask on, to help get the other side of the house. Another one of my crewmates, Quinn, sees me and calls for me. I take a step forward towards Quinn, but the roof falls underneath. I found a weak spot. I fall through the roof and crash to the floor. I shout out in pain, hoping to hear that someone other than Quinn had heard me. The team is so focused that they can't hear me. "Gizelle? Andy? Simon?" I start to shout names of my team members, hoping to get one of their attentions. "Clay? Nina? Rowyn? Quinn?"

I pass out from the extreme pain of my injuries.

I don't want to die out here. That's all that was on my mind right before I had passed out. I start to come into consciousness and I see the team crowded around me. They actually came for me... "I'm glad to see you're still alive." Andy says. "I was kinda worried about you, kid."

I muster out a laugh. "I'm glad to still be alive too." I take a breath, but it's painful. That fall really took a toll on me. I groan in pain, leaning back. I go unconscious again.
