I wake up and it's finally Friday. I couldn't wait for the weekend. It's just one day closer.
I remember the text Lance sent yesterday. It keeps coming back to haunt me.
'Serena... I don't know about you, but I think I'm starting to see a little bit of color.'
It's been two months since I lost Arlo, and since Lance and I first started talking. I've never seen something happen so quickly.
For all I know, Lance could've seen his soulmate out and about. He never told me I'd been the only other girl he'd been talking to. But if my guesses are anywhere near correct, then... His soulmate's gone too.
Which is sad.
And also, quite the coincidence.
But what's also strange is that it's happening like an Isla-and-Spencer or Savanna-and-Declan situation.
They met online and had the slow-fading color, too.
I mean, technically, we did, too, but we also live... only a few miles from each other. Wouldn't it have been instant?
It's just so... strange to me. Probably him, too.
Should I talk to someone about this and hear what they think?
I just don't want it to sound dumb to anyone. I sigh, stretch, and begin getting ready for my day of boring classes. It's just a couple of hours, Serena. You can make it.
