I'm sitting on my bed, fiddling with my phone. I think about how she is. She won't come if I don't play this right. Her phone rings, but I only get her voicemail. After another attempt, she answers.

"Hello, handsome." I feel my heart race as I reply, "Hey, beautiful. Um, I was wondering if you could come by."

"You ring up my phone because you miss me?" She begins to tease. "Sorry, love, it's Saturday, and I'm going out." She suddenly bursts out laughing.

"Ray, please," I beg. "I need to see you. I can't explain it, but I just have this feeling that something's not right. I need you here with me, just for a little while. Can you please come over? I can make it worth your while," I add with a hint of seduction in my voice.

She hesitates for a moment and says, "Well, whatever you're doing better be worth delaying my plans and coming there." She pops her gum into the receiver.

"Actually, there is." I smile at myself; I found a way to play her. "I think you'll find it quite irresistible."

She giggles seductively. "Oh, do tell, handsome."

"No one is home, and there is something I've always wanted to do with you." I pause. "I think you'll enjoy it just as much as I will."

"Go on." I've got her attention now. "I've always wanted to take you on the workout bench." I smirk to myself.

I can hear her breathing on the other end, finally, her voice is just above whisper, she says. "Hmmm, tempting. Will you be all sweaty from working out?"

"If that's what you want." I reply, feeling a rush of excitement.

"Well, you just made this whole day a lot more fun. I'll be there at seven, and you better be all hot and bothered, or I walk." I gulp, knowing that I need to make this work. "Done, see you at seven." I hang up and lay back.

I hope this works.

I look at the time. It's five; she will be here in two hours. I throw on my sweat pants and runners, no shirt, and head downstairs. Walking around the basement, I feel myself becoming weak.

"What is this all?" I ask, looking around.

"Raven Colewort and Fanged Lilly, it will suppress Raven's powers for a bit, we hope, but it will also suppress your vampirism. But considering you are the strongest vampire around, you will have just as much time as her. Hopefully." Mr. Michaels explains. "This is for you to take right now." He hands me a vile with blue neon liquid.

"What's this?" I ask, taking the vile from him.

"If or when she kills you, this will revive you, but you must take it right away to get it into your system."

I gulp it down, and it burns worse than any drink I have ever had. "She will be here at seven, and she wants me all sweaty before she gets here." They look at me with questioning looks. "Don't ask." I put my head down and start wrapping my hands.

They leave me to myself and my thoughts. I finish wrapping my hands and start hitting the bag. With the fanged Lilly, I can tell I'm not as strong as I usually am. Time passes, and I hear my name being called.

"Clay?" I hear Raven's voice. My heart beats faster as I realise it's game time.

"I'm down here," I shout. She walks down the stairs, and my heart breaks. I want my girl back. She has her hair down in waves; she cut it? Black leggings, heels, and a white crop top that shows off her breasts. Thrown over top is the leather jacket I got her. She looks fucking amazing. Raven walks toward me and places her hand on my bare chest.
