I haven't spoken to Clay all week. I participated in his request to play. When he wanted me, I refused. The anger that would show up in Clay's eyes whenever my kisses touched Zack's cheeks served as my motivation. I enjoy making him suffer. For a man, jealousy is a seductive emotion. But I knew that I couldn't keep up the charade forever.

I get home after class, and I immediately get in the shower. Tonight, Brie urged me to join her at the club. Because Clay wasn't going, I reluctantly agreed. She gave me her word that he wasn't into the club.

I'm all set to have some fun with my hair tousled in beach waves, make-up on point, low-rise jeans, and a crop top paired with wedge sneakers.

We enter the club and mingle with everyone I've met before. When I turn back, I see Sloane is also absent. Her entire existence is spent on Clay's dick. I walk over to the bar and place an order for a round of shots. Everyone grabs one, and Bronx shouts,

"To freedom."

"To freedom!" We all shout.

We're having a conversation while the music is pumping. I don't mind that Bronx is encircling me with his arm. He is a fun diversion, and I'm here to have fun. Though not quite as hot as Clay, Bronx is nonetheless quite good looking. I grin as his lips creep perilously close to my neck. Now, this is what I'm accustomed to.

The males fall in love with me, but I abandon them after dismissing them, hurting their hearts. Bronx grabs my waist and drags me onto his lap. I turn to face Brie, who is chuckling and shaking her head as she anticipates the situation. As Bronx kisses me, I feel his lips on my neck and can feel the chill running up his spine. My face is covered in a wicked grin; perhaps I've found my diversion. I'm in a Bronx-focused trance until someone coughs.

"Well, look who decided to join us tonight. I must say I'm surprised." Bronx says as his hands linger on my thigh. When I turn to face the person he is speaking to, I can see Sloane and Clay. She is wrapped around his arm. Seeing them together makes my blood boil, but I maintain my decorum because of what I just did.

"Aww, isn't it the happy couple?" I mock. I turn to Bronx and whisper in his ear. He smiles, takes my hand, and leads me to the dance floor. Passing Clay, he tells him he will see him later. I catch the look on Clay's face; his eyes are red. I know exactly what to do. I can tell Clay wants to stop me from going with Bronx, but instead, he follows Sloane and sits down.

Bronx puts his hands on my waist as we dance, and I get lost in the music. My eyes lock onto Clay's as he watches me dance. His jaw clenched, and jealousy ensues in his eyes, and I internally smile. I turn to face Bronx and whisper in his ear, and he smiles. I look back at Clay, who has disappeared.

"Guess you pissed him off!" Bronx laughs.

"Yeah," I say, trying to look for him. Pretend by CNCO plays over the speakers, and Brie is at my side faster than ever, shoving Bronx to the side. I mouth, I'm sorry while letting out a little laugh. He shrugs and heads back to the group. I look at the other side of the bar, found you; my eyes are on Clay; he seems more relaxed, looking at me like he enjoys the show as he takes a sip of his drink. I close my eyes and let the music take control.

Strong arms wrap around my waist, one hand wrapped in my hair and the other on my sensitive stomach—a gentle kiss placed on my neck. I don't have to turn around to know that it's Clay. My head falls back onto his chest, and I feel myself wanting him. As we move to the music, he whispers in my ear,

"You seem to like to tease me, don't you?" His hand is perilously close to my pantie line. I can't help myself; I'm breathing heavily. I swivel around and place my mouth on his. I am completely engulfed in the unending joy he places in me as he enfolds me in his arms and draws me close.

"I can see that your body is reading my mind." He states. "Come here." He pulls me closer. "I think it's time for us to leave. Let's get some privacy." I melt in his arms as he speaks. I'm lost for words as I try to catch my breath. "So? Wanna get out of here?" He asks as he tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Yeah," I respond, my voice shaking. He takes me by the hand, brushing through the crowd of people. I look up to see Sloane's anger fill her eyes. Jealousy ensues within her. I hold Clay's hand tighter, and we head toward his car.

My stomach is full of butterflies as we get closer to his house. We exit the vehicle and proceed to the door. With his arms crossed in front of me, he pauses and presses me against the door.

This is hot.

"You never answered my question. You like to tease me, don't you?"

"No, but you're the one who walked in with Sloane. It's not my fault the chick is boring, and I'm fun," I tell him.

"I'll show you what real fun is." He presses his lips against mine, his tongue parting our mouths. I give in once more. The atmosphere is undeniably sexy as he leans in to kiss me. Despite his teasing earlier, I can't resist the heat between us. Our tongues dance together in a passionate embrace, leaving me breathless and wanting more.
