Sloane is obviously present; that whore is everywhere. I get a drink and join the other guys in the living room.

"Hey Babe, hey Ray, grab a drink and come sit with us." As Logan greeted the girls, Brie and her friend are standing there when I look up. I carefully examine Raven. She has a curvy body and her ass is quite sexy. It is evident that she has never experienced physical intimacy, despite her efforts to portray herself as a rebellious individual. Sloane notices my preoccupation with Raven and takes a seat beside me, perhaps hoping to distract me from my thoughts. She gives Raven a menacing look and then drapes her arm around me possessively. The two girls enter the kitchen and then return. Logan is holding Brie in his arms while Raven is sits on the floor.

"Ray, this is Alec, Bronx, Thair, Alessandro, Cain, and you've already met Clay," Brie says, ignoring Sloane sitting beside me.

The party is boring, and Sloane is whispering in my ear about how we should go upstairs. I let her know that I'm not interested, yet she ignores me. Raven gives me a curious glance as I turn to face her, but she looks away immediately. Now that I'm paying attention, I'm drawn to the innocence in her dark eyes. Brie stands up and takes Logan's hand as they all move toward the area where everyone is dancing after Raven nods. I follow her movements. I want to taste her on my tongue.

When a guy starts talking to her, something happens to me that I have never experienced before. I can feel jealousy bubbling up inside of me like a volcano. I try to push it down, but it's too strong. Raven is laughing and smiling at the guy, and I can't help but feel irrationally angry. Why is he getting her attention and not me? I know that I shouldn't feel this way, but the green-eyed monster has taken hold of me.

"Alec, who's that?" I ask him, pointing at the guy talking to Raven. My heart drops as she smiles, and her eyes light up.

What the hell is going on with me?

"That's Zack. He's a freshman." He tells me. She smiles and laughs with him; Logan and Brie join in on their conversation, and my heart starts racing. She turns to look at me and smirks. I get up and walk over to them. I look at Logan. He grabs Brie and tells Zack to go with them; Raven faces me.

"I saw that look you gave me," I tell her. "What look?"

"That look, the one you're giving me now," I say. Raven laughs, biting her lower lip. "You're curious about me, aren't you?" I ask.

"Yeah, you're a real mystery," she says, rolling her eyes. I grab her waist and pull her towards me.

"Guys like me like girls like you, and girls like you, well, they always like guys like me."

She laughs, but my hands are still on her, feeling the goosebumps rise on her body. "I know who you are. You're me. I can see it in your eyes. You're here to win."

She pulls away from me, looks down, and then slowly looks back up at me. "So let the games begin." She smiles and walks away.

She sits back on the floor. Sloane comes back to sit next to me with an empty vodka bottle. "Who's ready for spin the bottle?" She smiles, knowing damn well that she wants me to kiss her. Raven starts to laugh; she shakes her head and says, "I'm out; have fun."

Curiosity takes over, and Sloane can tell I'm interested in this girl, so she starts a conversation with Brie. "Brie, who is this?" She gestures to Raven with an attitude.

"This is Raven, my best friend. We grew up together. We are practically family." Brie states the last part as trying to warn Sloane to back off.

"Raven, hmm, exciting name, I'm - " Before she could finish her sentence.
