It was just another normal day at the base. Shigaraki getting his crust all over the counters
Dabi commiting arson
Twice feeling conflicted about what he wants to do that day
Compress complaining about his arm
All the usual
But you just wanted to sit down and relax after the whole bank robbery you just did and you decided to sleep it off on the bases couch
"Peek a boo" Toga said and sat on your laying form
You gave off a grunt as she plopped down to hard and she just giggled
"Oopsie" she said and cuddled into you by laying down and curling up like a cat on your chest
"Do you want attention" you said while petting her hair and she nodded happily
"Mhm" she replied and snuggled in closer
"(Y/n) date me" she said happily as you continued to pet her head
"Keep joking like that and I might think your serious" you replied with a yawn at the end
She said the same thing every day and every day you thought it was a joke
She just pouted and made a "tsk" noise before trying to snuggle up closer to you "meanie" she mumbled out and you just nodded and kept petting her blond hair

Yeah... You wish it was still like that... You didn't know why you never accepted. Maybe it was the fear of rejection, or the fear that she was joking, even if you knew she wasn't.

But as you lie on the crumbled cement floor with a gapping hole in your stomach you let yourself remember those sweet little moments with the one person who made your heart beat faster.

"Y/N-CHANN!!!!!!!" you heard her voice scream as she ran towards you.

"H-hey Himi-chan" you said as if nothing was wrong with the situation
"Y/N-Chan please don't die!" She said as she grabbed your hand with both of hers
"Who was it, Wich one, I'll kill them all!" she said venomously   as she looked for the enemy that had suddenly attacked your base
"Himiko" you said softly making her look back at you
"Y-yeah Y/N" she said and you gave her a small smile
"Date me" you said and the tears pricked her eyes while she looked at you
"Of course" she said and kissed your forehead
You gave out a happy little laugh that ended in a cough
"I'm so sorry...I-I was afraid of being h-hurt-" you coughed again and a little blood came out of your mouth while you groaned in pain
"But, I should have known you'd never hurt me Himiko... I've never felt so happy around s-someone... So I'm sorry... That I was so l-late on saying I- Love... Yo...." You said before slipping gradually towards the end.
You didn't want to die without saying it
You didn't want to die without her knowing
You didn't want to die with out giving her closure
you didn't want to die without giving her your love
YOU DIDNT WANT TO DIE DAMNIT

But that's how things were
And toga knew she shouldn't have fallen for you... When you crush on someone it passes
But real love never leaves
"Y/n-chan?" She said shaking your hand worriedly
"Y/n-chan!!" She said a little louder as she started to panic more and more
"Y/N-CHANNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
