Chapter 4 Snack Run

Shigaraki called a formal meeting a few weeks after All For One was defeated and detained. He only needed to talk to Toga but everyone was already there. "I want you to keep an eye on those brats" he said clawing at his neck.

"They're taking their Provisional Licensing Exam soon, we picked out a student from Shiketsu High for you to masquerade as, her name is Cami Utsushimi" Kurogiri continued.

"Sounds fun!" Toga said excitedly, her excitement caused Chizue to wag her tail next to her. It seemed like Toga hadn't done anything fun in so long. She was very excited to see everyone again. Especially Izuku, the look in his eyes was so spirited and determined. She just knew he'd be a caring friend the way he wanted to protected everyone. Don't even get her started on Ochako, she was so pretty! Toga was so happy she was able to get some of her blood. She has to remember to get Tsu's next time, she was just too adorable. Toga knew they all could be friends if they just stopped fighting her and let her do what she went there to do. Friends help each other right? She just needed their blood. They were so cute, she wanted to look like them and their quirks were so awesome.

"I'll go drop Chizue off and head out to go find Cami" Toga said twirling out of the door.

Dabi, knowing Izanami's schedule, knew she'd be on her way home from work right about know. He still needed to go through that box, he was tired of rationing pages from the dream log. He lingered a little longer before walking to the apartment after Toga. He pasted the time by finishing up the dream log.

'It was the first time he came back from the bookstore with thick medical books. He wanted to start formally teaching me, I remember spending a week on each chapter before he quizzed me. The smug bastard was always so proud of his lesson plans.'

'I can't sleep, he beat my face in to see if I could fix it without his help and when I did he was almost mad about it. He liked when I succeeded but he liked it more when I failed. It never seemed to matter since he'd punish me anyways, even if I did exactly what he asked. Disgusting'

'This time I couldn't wake up and the dream was on loop. He'd rape me and watch me heal myself with that fucken look in his eyes. He did it over and over again the only thing changing was my age, it was like a flip book. I started at 6 and every reset I would get older and even though I got away I just kept getting older. I was trapped. I was maybe 24 by the time I woke up... it just kept dragging on and on'

Dabi shut the book at the last entry. It was the first mention of rape in the whole notebook and it was all the way at the very end. Up until now it was just 'punishments' which Dabi assumed were just plain old beatings. 

For some reason everything clicked for him, the way she'd tiptoe around writing about it. Now Dabi knew for certain she'd killed him. There wasn't a doubt in his mind. That's why she needed to change her name. To start fresh. The pieces were all coming together. They brainwashed her in therapy. That's why she's living her life like this. Those pills are keeping her sedated from the rage in her heart. In her eyes. They were keeping her from acting like him. She was the one who needed his help.

Toga was close to Izanami's building. She checked the time on her phone before deciding to text her instead of just popping up like in the past.

Himiko: hey izanami i got a job tomorrow i'm on my way to drop chizue off

She sent it quickly and continued skipping down the street. She felt her phone vibrate as soon as she made it to the stoop.
