Izanami spent her days off in bed, she couldn't even bring herself to get up and buy groceries. Sadly, it was finally time to head into work. She made sure to check her surroundings every 2 seconds, keeping her eyes open for a cop or hero. She made it through the cab ride without see anyone but she still wasn't convinced. As she made her way into the hospital, she took once last glance before relaxing under the familiar florescent lights.

"Izanami come here sweetie, you have a visitor" Yuka the head nurse called sweetly.

Izanami turned to her voice and froze.

Eraserhead.

"Yuka-Sama..." Izanami blinked, "don't I have to start my shift" she said, pointing behind her towards the double doors of the emergency room.

"Your shift doesn't start for another 20 minutes" she waved off. She smiled to the hero before returning back behind the nurse's station.

"It'll only take a moment" Aizawa said tiredly.

Izanami hesitantly walked him out back where she takes her smoke breaks. On her way she ran into one of her coworkers. "Lily, can I bum a cigarette please? I'll hand them back to you when I clock in" she asked hopefully. She was stressed out but she never bought her own, Miki or Aina always had plenty to spare. Lily was a saint, she handed her a pack along with a green lighter.

Aizawa said nothing as he watched the exchange and followed Izanami out the back door.

"Okay what is it?" Izanami asked with a cigarette hanging out her mouth as she tried to block the breeze to light it. "I don't know where they are, I haven't seen them" she frowned.

"I know. You stay home all week" he muttered.

"I knew you'd be watching" Izanami glared as she blew smoke in his face.

Aizawa coughed, matching her eyes as he waved away the smoke. "I came to tell you I talked to my students and they feel really bad for how things went down, they even wanted to come and apologize here at the hospital but you work after curfew" he explained.

"They don't need to apologize to me" Izanami shook her head as she took a long drag before aggressively flicking the ash towards the ground.

"I know and I think they do too. They had a gift idea in mind, maybe they'll leave it here for you one of these days" he said pensively, he was curious about the whole thing but didn't ask any questions. "I explained to them what you're trying to do and they understand but that's not why I'm here"

"Why are you here then?" she snapped. She hated being away from everyone and it was all his fault.

Heaving a heavy sigh, Aizawa looked around the little alley way they were in before clearing his throat, "I came to tell you you're okay to do whatever it was you were doing before: shopping, spending time with them, saving them, whatever it was go ahead and continue, but if they do something I'm hauling your ass to jail with them" he said, making intense eye contact. "I didn't want to do this at work but you never left your apartment and I certainly didn't wanna pop up on you at home"

"Do you really mean it?" Izanami said, stepping on her half finished cigarette. "Please don't lie to me" she whispered teary eyed.

"I never lie. Truth be told I wanna see if you can do it, if they're capable of change. Don't get me wrong I'll still be watching you and dropping in when I see fit" he said straightening out.

"What about your students?" Izanami asked warily. Being watched over was something she could work with, she just needed to be sure the students were on the same page as their teacher.
