"Can you guys watch Chizue? I think she's too tired to come with" Toga asked as she watched Chizue get comfortable in the bed next to Twice. She also got the feeling Chizue didn't like school much since she stopped hanging out with the Bakusquad. The poor pup gets so bored.
"Yeah sure" Twice nodded, throwing his blanket over her.
"Are you ready Himi-Chan?" Izanami smiled as she looked up from her phone.
"Yeah" Toga said lowly. She waved bye and walked out, holding the door open for Izanami.
"See you guys later" Izanami called out while slipping through the door.
The girls made sure to leave early, Toga was towards the end of the list but they didn't wanna run the risk of the train stalling and making them late.
On the train, Izanami noticed Toga fidgeting restlessly. "What are you so nervous about?" She asked teasingly, bumping her shoulder with a tiny giggle.
Toga's face broke out in a grin, "I don't know" she laughed at herself. She had good grades and hasn't gotten into any trouble since she's been there. They didn't even have to see a lot of her teachers just Aizawa and Present Mic. The rest thought she was doing well enough to let Aizawa take care of everything and Present Mic needed to address her struggle with English.
"Good, 'cause I already know what they're gunna say" Izanami smirked. "'Toga's a star student, her grades are totally awesome and she has tons of friends. She's doing great, wish we had more just like her'" she laughed as she threw her arm around Toga and tugged her close.
"You just love embarrassing us huh?" Toga giggled, shoving her away. Izanami was always teasing and bragging on them.
They got off at the first stop like always and walked up to the school. They were 15 minutes early so they opted to wait by Toga's locker. She opened it to grab her library book to show Izanami which painting she was doing her report on. Izanami was delighted to hear Toga talk so enthusiastically about the whole project, she barely noticed the pair walking out of the classroom.
"So not only did you not get your license now I have to hear you're failing English" a gruff voice said darkly, making Izanami eyes snap down the hall.
"I'm not failing, I have a 'B-'" Shoto rolled his eyes with a huff.
Izanami was quick to make her way towards him to ask if he was alright.
"How do you expect to be the #1 Hero with anything less than an 'A'" Endeavor yelled throwing his hands up, making Shoto stutter a step.
Izanami was finally close enough to grab him with glowing hands. Shoto got startled and flinched away making Izanami feel guilty for even reaching out to him.
"Oh god sweetie, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" She said with her hands up, void of her blinding light.
"You caught me off gaurd..." Shoto mumbled while looking at the ground.
"I'm so sorry, I was just checking on you before you got a chance to walk away, are you okay, do you need help?" She asked.
"Shoto, who is this?" Endeavor's voice boomed as he took a step towards them.
"Father please" Shoto sighed at the tone of his voice.
Izanami ignored Endeavor completely and took Shoto a step away to put some distance between them. "You're okay right sweetie?"
"Why wouldn't he be alright" Endeavor said putting a hand on Shoto's shoulder.
Izanami's eyes turned dark as she glared up at the huge man. "Excuse me sir but I don't think I was fucken talking to you." Her eyes softened when she turned her gaze back towards Shoto.
