After everyone woke up from their nap yesterday, Toga made them dinner and Dabi and Shigaraki took Twice to his bike while she and Chizue stayed with Izanami.
When the boys came back, Toga went to her room, leaving Izanami's door opened for Dabi. He didn't sleep much he just watched over her protectively, wondering how long she'd be out for.
Izanami didn't wake up until early afternoon the next day. She stretched with her eyes closed before forcing them open.
"Morning" Dabi muttered when big tired eyes stared up at him.
"Good morning" she smiled shyly. "Did you sleep well?" She asked while sitting up.
"No but I never really do" he chuckled, standing up to help her out of bed.
Izanami pouted as she slipped her legs out of her covers. She put her feet in between his and looked up at him as he towered over her. She was staring at him and he was staring back. He held out both hands for her to stand up, she took them happily and after she was on her feet she hugged him tightly. "Thank you for saving us" she whispered tearfully. "I knew you would but... we were really scared"
Dabi hugged her back lifting her off her feet in the need to be closer to her. "I'll never leave anyone behind ever again" he said seriously as he pecked a light kiss into her hair.
"I know" Izanami nodded, pulling away to look up at him again.
Dabi pushed her hair out of her face and smiled at her genuinely, "Come on, the docs waiting for you" he said, stepping away from her to let her get ready.
"Okay" she nodded.
"I'm driving you, take your time though. I'll be in the living room" Dabi said, walking out the door.
"Okay" Izanami nodded again before slipping into her bathroom for a shower.
Dabi walked to the living and found Toga and Shigaraki making a mess in the kitchen. "What are you guys doing?" he sighed.
"Izanami missed breakfast" Shigaraki rolled his eyes as he whisked eggs in a bowl.
"Yeah we're making her favorite" Toga said, shaking spam out of its' tin. "Don't worry, we're gunna clean it up. Tomura's just never been in a kitchen before" she giggled.
"Bite me" Shigaraki glared.
Toga taught Shigaraki how to season and whisk the eggs and showed him how to use the burners. It was a simple breakfast but it took awhile for him to get the hang of it. Toga said she'd teach him how to fry eggs later on since it was a little above his skill level right now and he nodded his head at everything she said.
Izanami came out ready to go and was pleasantly surprised when she entered the kitchen and saw everyone there.
"Hi" she smiled excitedly.
"Tomura made breakfast for the first time!" Toga praised.
"Wow, you're so cute!" Izanami gushed while giving him a hug.
Shigaraki gave her a pat on the back while he blushed in embarrassment. "Okay okay, hurry up and eat then take your medication"
Izanami pecked his head then Toga's, taking the plate she was offered. She ate and took her medication then gave everyone a pat on the head on her way out. She gave Dabi directions to her therapist's office as she fidgeted with the ends of her hair nervously.
"Izanami, what's wrong?" Dabi asked as he glanced over at her.
"I just hate talking about all the fucked up shit I've done and everything else that's happened" she pouted as she focused on how he switched gears.
