Izanami told Dr. Tanaka she was planning on starting work tomorrow, when he asked why she's didn't want to wait until Monday she said she needed to get on a schedule as soon as possible. He expressed admiration for her proactive attitude and helped her set up a zoom account and made sure to give her a meeting ID and password. She decided to change her appointments to the first Tuesday and the last Wednesday of the month since her sessions keep getting shorter and shorter the longer she kept going twice a week.
After she was done with her appointment they went back home and watched TV on the couch until lunch finally rolled around.
"Make sure you guys eat" Izanami said as she watched Dabi take the keys off the hook. "Why don't you guys just come with me and have lunch at another table?" She said, looking between Dabi and Shigaraki. She knew they were more than capable of feeding themselves but she hated the idea of them possibly missing a meal.
"Izanami, you haven't spent time with your friends in months. We'll eat, don't worry about us" Shigaraki shook his head.
"Are you sure? The cafeteria food is actually really good" Izanami asked as Dabi led her out of the house.
"I really don't think I should walk in with you. They were ready to bite my head off when I said you couldn't go drinking with them" Dabi said, opening her door.
Shigaraki snickered as he hopped in the back seat on the drivers side. "What kinda food do they sell, maybe I do wanna eat in the cafeteria" he smirked, looking at Dabi in the mirror.
"I was actually thinking of having lunch with Natsuo" Dabi glared back at him.
"Oh that sounds nice" Izanami smiled, looking over her seat, "doesn't that sound nice Tomura?"
Shigaraki's face burned up and he huffed before looking out the window "truce" he muttered sourly.
"Truce" Dabi nodded as he drove Izanami to the hospital for her lunch date with the girls.
"We'll stay close, have fun" Dabi smiled as he pulled up to the very front.
"Okay I'll text you! Bye love you" she said, giving him a quick peck on the lips and Shigaraki a wave before she jumped out. She didn't want them staying in the drive way too long in case an ambulance needed to make a drop.
She texted the girls she was headed to the cafeteria and that she'll be there soon.
"Nami!" The girls smiled in unison when they saw her.
"Hey guys" she laughed as she was about to have a seat.
"Come on, let's get you some food huh?" Aina said, grabbing ahold of her hand.
Izanami smiled brightly as she snatched up Miki's hand and walked to the counter.
"Yuka's gunna meet us, she had to grab something real quick" Miki said as she pulled out her wallet.
"Okay" Izanami nodded. "What are you guys gunna get?"
"Veggie burger and fries please" Aina said to the cafeteria worker, who nodded and wrote it down to pass to a cook.
"A Burrito for me" Miki said with a smile.
"Can I have a crispy chicken sandwich and a side of fruit... and cherry jello please" Izanami listed shyly as she pulled out her wallet.
"Put that away" Miki shook her head handing the worker her card for everyone's food.
"Thank you!" Izanami said before putting her wallet back in her pocket.
"I'll call your number when it's ready" the worker smiled while giving her the receipt.
The girls all thanked her and went and found their seats. Not even a moment later Yuka joined the table.
