Hey,
How do you deal with it?
All the crap daily life brings. Does it ever get to you? Break you? Shatter you?Like the gossipy next-door neighbor? Or the overbearing boss that makes everyone miserable? Or the friend that only calls you when they need something? Rush-hour traffic, lousy customer service and every rude person that crosses your path.
Or is it just me. Some times I wonder if some people were born immune to it all. And boy do I envy it, the ability to stay oblivious to all the insincerity and ridicule people throw your way. The judgement and contempt in their eyes.
Don't you ever wonder how simple life could have been? If we didn't have to worry how well we appeared, how we carried ourself, the types of connections we had and all the other insignificant little things we stress about until our heart gives out. Just to not get looked down. For the sake of being accepted by people who we know would very well drink the glass of water in their hand while we are on fire.
We all know that one cool person right. They never let it get to them, even though they probably have more reason to be bothered than all of us combined.
People who get away with just about anything and still manage to keep face.
Go to a funeral wearing a bright cyan summer dress. Check.
Slap the CEO in the face with your bag when he verbally harassed you. Check.
Run away in the middle of the biggest interview of your life just to greet your boyfriend at the airport. Check.
People are always asking others to think outside the box. Sometimes I wish I had the guts to jump on the box and stomp it to shreds.
But I don't. Probably never will. You know you think you might be able to at 3 am lying awake on your couch thinking up arguments that could have backed you up when you fought with your grade school enemy 10 years ago, everything seems like a viable option. Wearing a white tube dress to your crazy Ex's wedding seems brilliant. But when it comes to acting it out you never have the guts, do you?
Well guess what, you're not alone. This is a loser infected world and we need to come to terms with it and embrace our reality.
But it is understandable that this is easier said than done. Which is why we are here to help you.
With out newest addition Dr.Help we are ready to help you get your life back on track. To give you the courage to do all the daunting things you think up in the shower, to follow your dreams, to put people in their place with all the right arguments and most of all to make your life feel less loser-ish.

Sincerely,
Yvonne.
