5. Electrifying glares

Y/N'S POV

I was standing at the window recalling everything that happened last week. It was so easy for Taehyung to suggest leaving him but it was practically very much hard.

I closed the window and shut the curtains. Switching on the lamp I sat on the bed and started knitting the sweater which was half way done. Only three months were left for the wedding anniversary as I had circled the date on the calendar.

Right now the dawn was getting darker but I was alone in the house. This darkness used to scare me the most in the childhood but who knew I would find comfort in my horror.

My stomach growled so I stopped was knitting the strings and packed the wool. Placing the box back at its place I came out of the room. I roamed my hand on the belly since I hadn't eaten anything since morning.

Coming down the stair I straddled towards the kitchen and searched for some sweet treats to please my hunger. I opened the selves and found a packet of Cadbury. I took it and instantly tore the plastic covering.

Bringing the sweetness between my teeth I took a bite and fell the ecstatic pleasure of being dissolved in sugar. I again broke a square and placed it on my tongue, sucking it inside the mouth to melt it.

Suddenly the door bell rang and I startled. Licking my fingers I walked towards the door and saw the Taehyung standing at the doorstep with a bouquet of water lillis.

I was stunned because he made a visit to me since I took the vows but right now he was at the doorstep. I collected myself and opened the door.

His eyes so vast and deep fell in me. He smiled before giving me the bouquet and said,"Hi..... "

Tugging my hair behind my ear and I replied," Hi, Come in." I made way and I gladly came inside the living hall. He straddled towards the couch and sat there. I also came in and went towards the empty vase. I filled the vase with lillis and kept in on the dinning table while I walked towards the kitchen and decided to serve Taehyung with cookies.

I placed the dish on the table in front of the couch and sat on the isolated single couch. He was fiddling with his fingers while glancing at me. He parted his lips to say something but eventually remained silent and crunched on the cookies. Hence, I took the initiative.

"What a surprise! I didn't expected you.."

He dusted his mouth and nodded." Yeah, I never thought I'd come here. Not until Jungkook was here but I heard he was out on a business trip so I came."

I hummed with sorrow. Business trip my ass! He went away on an outing with Yubin. They went to fulfill their postponed trip that got cancelled last week because of the party.

He noticed the change of expression and shook my hand. " Everything is fine, right? I mean I know not everything is fine for you but if something is bothering you or you don't want to see me then I can lea-"

"Everything is fine."

I said with an assuring smile. I was at the edge of the ditch where everything was at maximum limit so what could've gone wrong...

He said," Forgive me Y/N for leaving you there." I looked up and found him struggling to make words. "I was lowkey disappointed in your decision without considering why you still wanted this relation. I think I went overboard with everything..."
