Chapter 4: Session 1

YOUR POV

Today has been a busy day, you have seen several students. A few staff members..

Early yesterday morning you had an encounter with Severus.. His darkness can be so overwhelming.. Just like yours used to be.. Sometimes you still have moments and if he wouldn't have came, you probably would have.

Playing is an escape, but sometimes it unlocks some dark memories...It is time for feast, you slip on some sandals and grab your journal and head up to the great hall.

You walk in and greet some students and a few staff members, you look over and your seat by Hagrid is filled by another woman. Headmistress Mcgonagall locks arms with you, and it takes you by surprise and jump slightly..

Oh goodness you scared me! You say chuckling and trying to catch your breath.

"Oh, I am so sorry! I was just coming to tell you that Madame Olympe Maxime requested to sit by Hagrid. She is here visiting and well, her and Hagrid-"

That is just fine! He has told me a lot about her. Where will I be sitting tonight?

"Well, the only available area is next to Professor Snape. Will that be ok?"

You look over and he is sitting, you can tell he has been watching.. And is probably wondering where you will be sitting as well..

Yes.. That will be just fine! You say, then the two of you head towards Severus..

You smile and take the seat beside him, He looks at you and you see his eyes start to look over you.. but then he looks back up to your eyes..

"Looks like your normal seat has been taken.."

Yeah, I'm ok with that though because I can sit by you.

You say nudging him with your elbow. He doesn't budge one bit, not even his facial expression changes.. But when you hit him, fire flames through you for a second.. There is some sort of connection between the two of you. It has happened several times now.. This fire...

You wonder if he has noticed it..if he did, he did a good job of hiding it. The food appears and it is time to eat.

Do you like music Severus? You say while shoveling food into your mouth.

"Is it a normal thing for you to talk while you eat?" He says with a put on face of disgust. You look at him and swallow very dramatically..

I won't talk with food in my mouth, does that answer your question?

He looks at you, and narrows his eyes slightly..Then goes back to eating..

You didn't answer my question! I answered yours... Do you like music?

"Yes.. I do.." he says putting the food in his mouth..

Do you play any instruments?

He stops dead..

"Can we save small talk for another time when I am not eating..." He says while not making any eye contact..

The rest of feast was spent with you sometimes making remarks.. And trying...You wish whatever was bringing yall together.. could lighten the mood some..

At the end of feast, a couple of students found you.. And now your schedule has gotten a little more full! Which is exciting, but keeping you busy.

Next thing you know, you feel the fire corse though you.. and you look and see Severus standing behind you.. He is so much taller than you...It makes you feel small. You like it though....
