Chapter 14: Yule Ball

YOUR POV

Even though you and Severus have seen each other everyday, he seems extremely distant...

You have tried to talk to him, but he gives short answers...his eyes are going dark again.. and he has been cold lately..

But today is the day... today is the ball! You have been waiting for this day...

You want to blow his socks off with how beautiful you look.. You pull the dress out from your closet...

SEVERUS! you yell with a whine in your voice..

mmmhmmm he hums...

I need you to leave.. so I can get ready....

"You have gotten ready with me here before.." he says with a confused sound to his voice..

I want to surprise you... so will you please put the spell on the room and leave...

you hear him shuffle, and the door shut..

You take a deep breath and pull the dress out of the bag....it is just as beautiful as you remember it..

Ever since that day at the dress shop, Severus has been off..as soon as I came out of the dressing room.. the look on his face spoke..

Something had to of happened.. and now he has been distant.. and you hate it..

You take a nice warm shower, making sure to use as  much of your favorite body wash as possible.. making sure you are smooth in all the right places..

Once out of the shower, you use your shea butter lotion all over your body.. the smell permeates the room..

You take off your towel and wrap your robe around you.. and begin to curl your hair... into beautiful curls...

You dig through your cabinets and find some mascara, and a small amount of powder foundation..

You pat on a light amount of foundation, and curl your eyelashes and apply light mascara..

Once you are done, you take off your robe and spray your perfume all over your body..

You go into the room where your dress is hanging.. and you begin to slide on the ballgown.. and somehow manage to get it zipped..

*Knock*Knock* "Ms.(Y/N) are you ready..." Almost Severus! go ahead and go get in line! I will be there soon..

You look at the clock and realize you are running so far behind.. you go grab the pair of black heels that hide away in the closet.. that are only for events like this..

SEVERUS POV

Where is she? We are almost ready to walk out...

His eyes wander around the hall, everyone standing with their dates in their arms..

He looks to his left when he sees her... a beautiful dusty purple, floor length, tulle ball gown. The dress has a sweetheart neckline revealing her breasts ever so slightly.. the dress has boning to support the top, and it flows as she walks.. there is a slit in the middle that reveals her leg every now and then.. Puffy long sleeves...her chest is revealed, but her scars are still covered..

Her beautiful hair, curled and cascading down her back, and it looks like she has light makeup on.. no glasses tonight.. revealing her beautiful (Y/C/E)..
