Chapter 16: Not Today

YOUR POV

You hold your dress so it doesn't fall straight to the floor when it unzips... the spot he just kissed on your back burns..

You slip out of your dress, you pick up your nightgown off the floor. Your body is flustered and you are drained...

Dancing with Severus was a dream...him kissing you...didn't even feel real..

You run your fingers on your lips... you can still feel it.. you can still taste it.. you don't even care about your robe right now.. you just want to lay in the bed, you really hope Severus will hold you again tonight..

You walk out and Severus is sitting in his normal seat.. he has taken his coat and his shoes off..his shirt is slightly unbuttoned.. and he is undoing his sleeves when you walk out.. You walk over to him and stand in front of him....

What are we... you say wrapping your arms around yourself..

He looks at you confused...

Am I your girlfriend?

"I hope so..." he says standing up and begins to get close to you..

Don't be afraid to touch me Severus...I want you to touch me.. I will tell you when to stop...

He wraps his arms around you and pushes your head against his chest.. you can hear his heart beating.. his hand rub circles on your upper arms which makes you slightly flinch.. so he stops.. you grab his hand and take him to the bed..he still mostly clothed.. but you don't care.. you just want to be held...

You crawl into the bed.. and he stands there...

Please hold me... I don't want sex... I just want you to hold me...

Severus crawls in the bed in his dress pants and black button down shirt..

when he gets in he lays on his side and starts to pull you into him..spooning you...

right before he nuzzles his head in your neck he kisses your cheek.. and your drift to sleep with his big arms wrapped around you...

Where did you take her!

Seveurs screams at Nott who is one of the death eaters..

"You should have taken better care of her, maybe you would still have her..."

Where is she... where is my love... I need her.. I will do anything..

"Anything? Would you come back and be apart of the death eaters?"

Severus goes quiet... and closes his eyes.. trying to focus on (Y/N)... when he opens his eyes.. he sees a dimly lit (Y/P) patronus.. he runs up and knocks Nott out and runs towards where he sees it..

LOVE... where are you!?

SEVERUS POV

"SEVERUS! PLEASE WAKE UP"

(Y/N) is practically on top of him shaking him awake..

his eyes shoot open and he gasps..

"Oh merlin...you where having a night-" he grabs her face and pulls her in for a kiss.. this kiss was different.. it was desperate... his hands snake around her waist.. and he holds onto her.. tightly..

She breaks away from the kiss and looks him in the eyes.. can I see what it was.. he nodds and lets her in his mind..

"Severus... she says curling up next to him..." He is hyper aware of every inch of her body... her breasts on his chest and her breathing.. her legs that are intertwined with him.. he honestly doesn't know if he has ever had anything so intimate in his whole life..

Her eyes flutter open... and she looks at him... and runs her fingers along his jaw... "I'm happy..."

and she goes back to sleep.....

*Time skip by a few days* Severus pov still..

You two have slept in the bed with each other every night since the ball.. nothing sexual other than the tension.. but holding her.. kissing her... he could do that forever..

Class is dismissed.. he says waving the children away..

They all pile out of the classroom and in the crowd of kids he sees his beautiful girlfriend..

Hello dear... he says as he continues to write.. she is wearing black skin tight pants, and a white turtleneck with her hufflepuff cloak on.. her heels click on the floor as she walks towards him.. and she stands behind him and wraps her arms around him.. he kisses the back of her hand.. and she giggles..

"I missed you and wanted to come see you.." he leans his head up so it rests on her shoulder, and she kisses his cheek..

Want to do something fun tonight? she says against his face.. he hummss... and his breath.. let's walk around the castle tonight.... do some sight seeing together..

"I will see you later then.." she says giving him one last peck on the cheek..

He has almost changed into a completely different person.. Since you both opened up about your feelings.. and now you are dating, it feels so much better. Him holding you every night.. the sweet kisses... the respect.. that you have never known from a man..

You can't wait till after dinner... you start walking back to your office.. and not to long after you leave his room, you get stopped by Ms.Mcgonagall..

"Ms.(Y/N) we have a guest today! I believe he was in your class here at Hogwarts.. "Stepping out from behind her is the one person you never wanted to see again...

"(Y/N) it's nice to see you.."Hunter says.. in his raspy voice that immediately brings back memories..

you turn and run... the tears burning your eyes... you run straight back to Severus's classroom...

You bust in as he was putting some papers away..

Severus.. Severus! you say running into his arms..

"What's wrong? What is going on my dear.."

You don't understand because I- your lips seal shut.. you look at him.. and the idea comes to mind..

Severus.. you do what I do right.. peer into my memories...

"Yes-" She grabs his hands and puts them on her head.. and opens her mind to him..
