You strip of your nightgown, and as you slip in the dress, you notice it's a little tight..but not where you expected.. your breast have gotten significantly bigger... you are 8 months pregnant, this shouldn't be a surprise... Severus walks up behind you and goes to zip the dress..
Now for the moment of truth.. you say with a smile.. you see his lips curve as he zips it all the way..
"I'm not sure how I'm going to contain myself tonight.. " he says as he bends to kiss your neck, wrapping his arms around you and cupping your belly.. You smile and lean into it...
But something in you feels so uneasy about tonight..

"Students! The Yule ball is tonight! Be there early and dressed your best" Have a good rest of your day." Minerva says as all the students clap and head out the doors of the great hall to get ready for the wonderful night.
Severus stands out and holds out an arm to help you stand. You are so ready to have this baby and you will soon...
"I will walk you to the house.." he says as he leads you out the doors.. "Then I am going to have to run back to my classroom to finish a few things. Then I will come home and change and clean up. Then we can head to the ball" He says nodding his head towards students as you leave..
Samuel Avery sits at a table, his eyes locked on the two of you... You almost see fear behind those eyes.. You throw a smile his direction and he looks away... It looks like his eyes are pooling with tears.. But Severus pulls your gaze to his..

You try, and try to get your shoes on.. Severus is in the shower, but you are at the point where you are sick of having to ask for help.. He comes out of the bathroom, with a towel wrapped around his waist..
"Love, let me help you.." He says bending down and pulling your dress up to slide the shoe on your foot...
I just am sure you get tired of having to help me.. You say as you put a hand on one of his..
"Darling... I will never be tired of helping my beautiful wife.." He says sliding your other shoe on and leaning up to give you a kiss.. His hand snakes around the back of your neck and he bites at your bottom lip...
You smile holding the necklace he gave you, one last thing please.. You say handing it to him..
"I love you.." He says smiling, you pull your hair to the side as he clasps it in the back..

The night was so full of fun and laughter...
You and Severus even danced, while it was hard with you being superpregnantt.. It made you feel so happy..
The ball was heading towards a close, very few students where on the dancefloor and you and Severus where sitting in your seats watching..
"He hasn't moved all night" Severus says nodding his head in the direction of Samuel...
Samuel is sitting there with a full plate of food just staring...
Severus, we need to talk to Minerva...
"I agree, first thing in the morning..."
Samuel gets, up and walks out the door..
You sigh..
"Professor! We need you for a moment.." Minerva waves him over
Severus leans over and kisses your cheek, then gets up and walks away with Minerva..
After a little while, you decided that you want to go ahead and walk home..
Rebecca! You say waving at one of the students..
"Yes Mrs.Snape!" She says running towards you..
Will you find Professor Snape and let him know I walked home.. I believe they are in the meeting room around the corner..
"Yes I will..." She says as she runs towards the exit..
You get up and head out of the school, you were watching your steps carefully to make sure you didn't fall.. Suddenly you feel your whole body stiffen... you can't move and are under a spell..
You are turned, as your body comes to a stop.. in the shadows you see a dark figure emerging..
"Hello Mrs.Snape, nice to see you here alone.." As the man comes into the light, he has a death eater mask on, and his black cloake...
