Chapter 20: Seeing them off

YOUR POV

Mmm...

You begin to open your eyes and the bright room makes you shut them again. You move your body some and feel arms tighten around you...

You suddenly are hyper aware of the heaviness of his arms, his body heat, his smell...

Oh..what time is it... you try to sit up but his arms pull you back...

Severus...what time is it...

"I don't care" he grumbles under his breath...

Severus... you told me we had a meeting today...

You manage to reach your glasses and you look at the clock...Severus! We need to get up.. we have missed breakfast! We need to get up and see the students out...

As soon as he gets in the bathroom.. he runs and turns the shower on, and starts removing his clothes as fast as he can...

I don't know how much longer I can hold back... he thinks to himself..

Once Severus gets out of the shower, you take your clothes and go in after him.. The smell of his cologne permeates the room.. it's almost as breathtaking as his embrace.. You smile and close your eyes...loving him was the best decision you ever made..

You two are still learning what it is like to be in a relationship, but things feel right with him..

You pull your hair up in a ponytail, and begin your routine..

Wash your face, clean your glasses, make sure your nails are clean, makes sure you have deodorant on, make sure that you put on your clear mascara and fix your eyebrows.. making sure there are no visible black hairs anywhere on your face. You get out your oil you use to reduce your scarring, and rub it into some of your big scars, and all the scars on your arms and thighs..  You throw on a baby blue, sweater dress, knee length and long sleeves.. you slide on your white flats...and walk out of the bathroom..

Severus is standing close by buttoning the sleeves to his coat... and he locks eyes with you and winks...

You ready to go? You say smiling..
He walks over to you and wraps an arm around your waist, and pulls you into him...and plants a soft kiss on your head.

"Yes.. let's see the students off.. then prepare for our own trip.."

The two of you stand outside the doors with all the other staff members.. Severus stays beside you the whole time... Several students come up and hug you, and a few tell you they will miss you..

Severus keeps a hand on the small of Your back.....

"Have a good break Professor Snape!" One of the students comes up and shakes his hand..

A look of shock comes over his face.."Have a nice break.." He says shaking his hand...

A few more come up to him, and his eyes look a little watery...you wrap an arm around him and look up and smile..

Once all the kids leave.. he pulls you closer and leans down and kisses you on the head....

He whispers in your ear.. "I Love you... You have made me better" the words send a chill down your spine.. and his hand travels from you back down to your rear.. and he squeezes.. lightly but possessive..

"I've got some last minute things to do in my office, go pack your bags.." and smacks your butt as he walks away...
