Chapter 55: Final

(2 Years later) YOUR POV

You poor yourself your favorite morning beverage and stand in the kitchen, taking in the quiet before the day begins. Severus is in the shower, and you are waiting on Samuel to wake up. You have some appointments today so Severus is going to stay home with Samuel...

You go to sit down when you hear the rustling and sounds of Samuel waking up...

Instead of sitting down you stand back up and go towards his room..

Good morning Samuel.. You say grinning and walking over to his bed..

Today is your birthday! You say picking him up and holding him in your arms..

He squeaks and giggles.. "Dada" He says reaching behind you...

You turn to see Severus, standing in the doorway..

"Good morning my boy..." He then starts to walk towards the two of you wrapping you both in his arms... "Happy Birthday Sammy.." He says planting kisses on his cheek and Samuel giggles.

Then he grabs your chin with his thumb and pointer finger, he kisses you and you feel his hand move from your waist down to your rear.. He smacks it lightly then takes Samuel..

"I'll try to have him ready before the party starts.. I love you.." he says

Love you more, bye Sammy.. You say  tickling his tummy...

I am glad you are doing well! I think today went very well! So.. I will see you in two weeks? Does that sound good? You say picking up your pin to write in your schedule.

"Yes that sounds great!" Will see you then.. The student says grabbing their stuff and heading for the door.

And that wraps up your appointments for today! You hurriedly put everything in its place and head out the door. You needed to get home and start setting up for the party, Hagrid, Minerva and a few others will be coming over to celebrate.

Once in you blow up balloons and hanging streamers..

You grab the cake out of the of the fridge and set out  a few snacks for everyone to eat on..

You hear the sound of Samuel laughing from the other room. You walk towards the noise and when you peak around the corner, you see Severus on the floor with Samuel puting on his clothes..

"I got  to put your pants on, quit moving your legs.." he says trying to put a foot in the black pair of pants.

You giggle and Severus' head snaps towards you..."I'd like to see you try when he is kicking you!" He says with a look of frustration..

You stride towards him and sit on your knees.. Pulling Samuel towards you and plucking the pants out of his hands.

You quickly manage to put the pants on as Samuel kicks and kicks.. Severus just has a look of shock on his face..

You hear a knock on the door, and Severus stands.. "I'll get it.." He leans down and kisses you on the cheek..

The party was filled with Joy and so much laughter.. You all sit around the living room as Samuel plays with some of his new toys..

You look around at all the amazing people who have been there for you throughout the years.. Nothing compares to the love you feel..

As you all get ready to say your goodbyes for the night.. You hug each person and realized how amazing the hand of life you have been given is.. As everyone leaves, you turn to see Severus pick up Samuel from off the floor..

He sits on the couch setting him in his lap..

Samuels eyes are droopy, ready to sleep..

You look at Severus and see the same look on his face..

You walk over and climb on the couch beside them... And lean on his shoulder..

You look at your amazing husband, and your heart races.. Just like the first time you saw him.. Then you look at Samuel, who is practically his twin.. The long black slightly curly hair that frames his face as he drifts into sleep in his daddy's arms...

"I love you dear... You are amazing.." Severus says as he leans down and kisses your head..

I love you more...

All the bad things in life, all the drama... Could never separate you two... Now, you have Samuel.. And maybe another little one on the way...

Life is perfect... And nothing is ever going to change that...

Who knew this Dash of Mad love, would last a lifetime...
