Chapter 42: Summer is approaching

There is officially two weeks left of school, excitement and sadness is mixed in the air. There was so much to do in such a short time! It was time to evaluate if some of your students needed summer counseling, or if they could go the next few months without it. The Graduation Ceremony was approaching, and it was time to say goodbye to your seventh year students. 

Severus has been very busy with the students exams, so much that the only time the two of you really see each other is at breakfast, dinner, lunch, and bedtime. The two of you have been completely drained, sex hasn't even been on your mind. As soon as you are wrapped in his arms, sleep overtakes you both quickly. 

You hear a knock on your office door, jolting you from your thoughts your eyes dart toward the door.

The door opens and you see Severus walk in. 

"Hello beautiful.." his hands are behind his back as he makes his way toward your desk.. 

Oh dear, did you finally get caught up on all your work? You stand up and go to meet him.. 

"I did, and I knew I needed to pay my lady a visit.. I know we have both been very busy, we have not had much time together. While I did come here because Minerva needed us to make a couple decisions about the summer, I really wanted to be with you for a moment.." From behind his back comes roses wrapped in beautiful yellow papers. He hands them to you and smiles.. 

I love you Severus.. You say taking the flowers and holding them up to your nose and taking a deep sniff.  You set them on the desk and walk quickly to him.. One of his arms wraps around your waist and the other cups the back of your head as he brings you in for a passionate kiss. you wrap one of your arms around him, and the other rests on his cheek... 

The two of you haven't kissed like this in a few weeks... and you feel his member poking your stomach... He groans into the kiss... 

"I wish we had time right now to do what I would like... we can later for certain.. right now we need to talk about the summer.." 

You sigh and release him from your grip, you go back to the desk and pull out your planner.. 

"Do you want to stay here during the summer? Or would you like to find a house to stay in away from Hogwarts.." 

What would you like Severus? Im not really partial to either, as long as we are together. I know we will be safer here if we do stay..

"What I am concerned about is when we have a child, we aren't going to have room in our tiny quarters here.. I will think on it...Now, are we going to go on any trips? Minerva said she sent you all the meeting dates that are scheduled right now." 

She did, I would like to go on a holiday at some point just for a respite, yet at the same time I am afraid to leave... But I think we could go to London for a few days during the summer if you are ok with that? 

" I would love too dear.. Let me go think on our living situation... I will let you know when I have made a decision.." 

You get up and walk towards Severus, you sit in his lap and run your fingers through his hair... Leaning to his ear you whisper... 

You mean the world to me, I love you Severus... 

He grabs your waist tighter, "I love you too (Y/N)"

After dinner that night you and Severus decided to walk through the garden before going your quarters... 

He stops and wraps you in an embrace.. "I made a decision.." He says while he kisses the top of your head.. You look up at the stars and he smiles...

"I talked with Minerva, there is a small slot of land that is vacant here on the grounds... It's fairly close to Hagrid, she told me that we could build a home there if we wanted too...what do you think about that.."

"That sounds like a plan! I will get with some of the workers and we will get this house built quickly! I need you to write down some things you like and want in this home! That is your homework for tomorrow young lady.." He says kissing you on the cheek..
