Still Anything for Me? (44)

--My POV—

I finally decided to try to put my relationship back together with Seth. i mean, we are a couple again. It’s been slowly, developing. It’s not perfect, but it’s getting there. It’s better to try, then to never try and always wonder. Tonight was the first date we’d have together in over, well, since I came back to La Push, unless you count the dance a date, but I wouldn’t. He told me this would be the perfect date of a lifetime. I got changed and waited for him.

He finally picked me up and told me, ‘Kaya, this is going to be the best date you ever been on.’ I smirked and teased, ‘I’ll be the judge of that!’ We linked arms and he led me towards the forest. Mid-way there, he let go of my arm, and covered my eyes so it can be a ‘surprise.’ He led me to this place, until we finally stopped. He stood there for a moment,

Me: so, can I look, orrrrrrrrr

Seth: give it a second, will you? I want it to be perfect.

Me: fine, hurry up. 

We stood there for about 2 more minutes until he finally said, ‘Welcome to our Kingdom.’ He took his hands off of my eyes and I saw our secret place. It was our secret hide out when we first met. We would always come here to talk, and hang out, just him and I. I remember when we first found it,

~Flashback.~

We were sitting on the cliff, talking about each other and having a good time. Seth wanted to know my tickle spot. I refused to let him know and I ran away. He chased after me and I kept running and running until I reached a little opening with a little cabin. I stopped and heard Seth come up from behind. He tackled me to the ground, tickling every single part of my body. He finally stopped and I caught my breath,

Me: Seth, look. It’s a little cabin.

Seth: I’ve never seen this before.

Me: you think somebody lives there?

Seth: I don’t know. Let’s go check!

He bolts up and starts to walk towards the cabin. I got up and walk behind him. We reached the little porch and stood there. Seth knocked, twice. No answer. He takes a step forward and grabs for the knob.

Me: SETH, NO! What if someone lives here?

Seth: if they did, they would’ve answered the door.

Me: what if they are out?

Seth: come on Kaya. Let’s just check it out. I promise you I’ll behave.

I nodded and we went inside the cabin. The floors were empty, it was a little dusty, no footprints anywhere, but there were pictures all over the wall. The pictures weren’t of people but of sceneries or quotes.

Seth: I declare this our land!

He says with a brave, loud voice. He puts fists to the side, like he is superman or something. I chuckle and walk next to him

Me: our SECRET land.

Seth: I like that better. We can fix it up, come here when we want, and if we have no where to go, we can sleep here. I like it here. It’s nice and cozy.

Me: me too. It’s like a small house, well a small room. But it’s perfect.

Seth: we can live here one day, you know.

Me: I don’t think our... Actually, i don't know.

I wanted to finish, but I couldn’t give anything away that I wanted to have kids with him.

Seth: promise, this will just be our place.

Me: promise.

We pinky swore and always came here whenever we wanted to. ~

Me: I haven’t been here in AGES! I forgot all about this place! You really fixed it up. You put chairs and a table outside. I remember it was just all-tall grass.

Seth: well, I had a lot of time on my hands before. I would always come here to think of you.

Me: you didn’t bring Kayla here?

Seth: why would I? We promised this will just be our place, remember?

He held out his pinky and smiled. I grabbed his pinky with mines and clung onto it.

We walked towards the cabin, and went inside. The pictures were still hanging, but Seth added a little more stuff inside. There was a bed a nightstand, lights, drawers, and chairs.

Me: you really changed it in here. I remember it was just a blanket on the floor.

Seth: what can I say? I wanted everything to be perfect.

Me: and what are we going to do here?

He takes out a picnic basket. We eat the night away. The rest of the night, we talked and laughed. I felt like nothing happened, like all those people, Evan and Kayla were never even in our lives. All I know is that I fell more in love with Seth. It was around midnight when we left the cabin. We had to go back and tell Koda we are safe. We walked a different path, to find the road, so we can walk there easily. We walked hand in hand on the road talking about anything.

Me: Seth?

Seth: yeah?

me: after everything we've been through, you will still do anything for me?

Seth: i will try my hardest to do anything for my little princess.

He kissed the top of my head and we continued to walk. We were almost at Sam’s house and I started speeding up in front of Seth. Seth grabbed my waist and spun me around as he put me in a big hug. I pull away a couple inches and look at him. Our faces were inches away from each other, when, BOOM, it happened.
