---Kwoli’s POV----
I hate what he’s doing to my sister. I hate the way he’s making her feel. I hate the fact that he’s telling himself he doesn’t love her anymore. I hate that he’s replacing her. NO. THAT DOESN’T GO TOGETHER. After my family and I stormed out passed Seth, I ran to Jazzy’s house. I needed to tell her. I knocked on her front door,
Jazzy: KWOLI! HEY! What are you doing here?
Me: I came to see you and talk to you.
Jazzy: great! Want to come inside?
Me: actually, I thought we could go for a walk.
She nodded, grabbed a jacket, and pulled me out of her house. We started walking in the forest, and she finally spoke up,
Jazzy: so, what’d you want to talk about?
Me: have you ever heard those Quileute legend stories?
Jazzy: yeah, about the cold ones, and wolves, and imprinting. My dad used to tell me them as a bedtime story before. What about them?
Me: promise me you won’t freak out.
Jazzy: cross my heart, and hope to die.
Me: okay well, those legends are true.
Jazzy: what do you mean?
Me: Everything in that story exists, vampires, wolves, and imprinting, all of it.
Jazzy: prove it.
I walked behind a tree and phased. I walked out, and trotted towards her. Her face was in total shock. I licked her face, and her face lit up. I went back behind the tree and phased back. I walked back out, and she flew into my arms. ‘You’re not scared of me?’ I asked her. She just shook her head no and hugged me tighter. I pulled away, ‘I have other things to tell you about me.’
Jazzy: you’re not married are you?
Me: definitely not. I’m not just a wolf. I’m half coyote. I can phase into a coyote if you want me to prove it to you.
Jazzy: no, I believe you. And I’m not scared of you. I remember in the stories, the wolves protect. And I feel like so do coyotes. You are my protector and that’s why you told me.
Me: yes, I am your protector. I’ll always be your protector. Now, what do you remember about the imprinting story?
Jazzy: that it was nothing like love. It’s more than that. When you first see them, your whole world changes. You’d do anything, BE anything for them.
Me: yes, everything about that is true. Gravity doesn’t hold you to the ground anymore because it’s her. Everything about her is perfection. No one else exists, but that one girl you want to love forever.
Jazzy: seems like you know the feeling.
Me: I do. I imprinted on this amazing, beautiful, perfect girl. Her name is Jasmine Reed.
Jazzy: m-me? W-why me?
Me: Why not you? I love you Jazzy. I imprinted on you. Will you be my girlfriend?
Jazzy: yes!
Me: good, I don’t want anything to happen between us. I will always love you and be there for you. I will never hurt you, ever.
Jazzy: okay, I get it. Are you okay? It seems like you’re hurt when you say that.
Me: it’s just that Kaya has been going through a lot. Everything I just said. I needed to tell you that, because I didn’t want to lose you, the way she’s losing her imprint.
Jazzy: tell me about it.
I knew from that moment, I’d marry her. I told her everything that has been happening. She’s been comforting me for the past, 15 minutes while telling her. I took her back to Sam’s and fully introduced her as my girlfriend. Everyone was there but Seth, Kayla, and Kaya. Everyone was happy for me, and I asked where Kaya was. We all sat there in silence, waiting for something to happen. We heard the door, and we saw Kaya. Kole ran to her and hugged her tight. She looked down, as Kole said, ‘Kaya. I thought you’d,’ she shook her head and left to go upstairs. Kole sat back down, and my family was relieved.
Me: I’m glad she,
Kole: I know.
Alana: ditto.
Sam: what’s going on? You’re glad she what?
Kole sighed and started to explain everything. I never thought any of us would have to go through such a thing. I just hope she chooses a different path for herself.
(This is just a filller. sooooooooooo. )
