-My POV--
Nightfall came around, and we all headed to the bonfire. Everyone was setting up the logs, picking at the fire, or preparing the food. The Cullens were there, without the Williams kids. We all sat down and my mom started to tell the untold legends.Mom: There is this untold legend story that my grandfather use to tell me when I was little and use to tell Kole and Kaya when they were younger before his passing. I always thought it was a load of baloney, but then again, all these other legends seem to be true, I never thought this would be true. Anyways, in my grandfather’s generation, there was an unusually baby always roaming around town. He was always alone, walking, and disappearing out of nowhere. My grandfather was 15 or 16 when he finally phased into a coyote. He figured that it was a vampire baby. He joined the tribe pack and kept trying to hunt down the baby vampire. But for a couple of weeks, he just disappeared and was never seen again. Then there was a new member of the pack.
Me: She was a girl. Helaku’s best friend, Dyami, in the pack imprinted on her and they had a baby. She was just like me, half coyote/half wolf. When she bore the baby, he was just like Koda. She always felt like someone was in danger, and that she had to protect them, but she didn’t know whom.
Kole: one day, she found out it was her son, Dakota, was the one in danger. The baby vampire returned, but no one knew when he did or why he came back. When Dakota reached 1 year old, he was truly developed mentally, just like Koda. One day, Dyami, his wife, and Dakota, were at the park, and Dakota decided to run off. He stopped running, when he scrunched his nose, when right in front of him, was the baby vampire. Dyami smelt the vampire and ran towards Dakota. He tried to grab Dakota, but the baby vampire ran to him and threw him across the park. Dakota looked back and saw how hurt his father was in. He got angry, and phased.
Mom: The baby vampire was in total shock, and disappeared. Dyami got up, and stared at his son, thinking it was his fault he phased at such a young age. Dyami’s wife was on her knees crying, watching the whole scenario. They took Dakota to both of the tribe’s elders, coyote and wolf.
Me: both the elders knew there was only one who was just like Dakota. He phased the same age as Dakota and now, Koda. The coyote elders said usually when a coyote phases that young, there is a vampire their age. Making the battle easier and fair. No adult wants to kill a baby vampire, and no baby vampire wants adult blood.
Mom: which explains why Kiona, Kola, and Koda phased. I should’ve seen this coming. They’ll just have to learn to control their anger.
Kole: wait, where are the Williams kids?
Carlisle: we took them to Alaska to our cousins. They’ll watch over them until they know they have calmed down and ready to handle human. So everyone can just go on to the normal lives before any of this even happened.
Jared: wait a minute, what happened to the baby vampire?
Kole: they, as in the pack, killed him.
Paul: And Dakota?
Me: unknown. I guess he just lived his life.
