"This has to be a joke." Sumio said sulking.
Now his little sister. His little sister likes Yōu more. Enough to make Yōu her "onee-chan".
He watched as the two were looking at swimsuits in a store. He couldn't help but feel out of place considering that he was a high school guy, watching two girls picking out swimsuits.
Many people would suspect him to be some sort of stalker. There was a considerable distance between them,
In fact, he heard whispering behind him. Something about a high school guy, watching two girls in a girls store.
Yeah, maybe he shouldn't be here right now...
After what seemed like an eternity the two swimmers finally finished their purchases.
"Unto the next one!" Haru happily cheered. "Right 'nee-chan?"
"Yeah!"
"Technically she's not your 'nee chan." Sumio sighed. "To be that, she was to get married to someone in our family and there's no way in hell that's happening-"
"I think it could happen!" Haru said as she continued walking.
It took Yōu and Sumio a couple moments to process what she said.
"WHAT?! THERE'S NO WAY I'M EVER DATING THIS IDIOT!" They pointed at each other.
"See? Already have the chemistry." She shrugged. "And I just said it could happen. You two just overreact. Things may have a small chance of happening, but never zero!"
"You shouldn't joke about things like that Haru-chan..." Yōu breathed a sigh of relief, "You might as well count out any chance of me dating your older brother. I prefer my type of guy to be intelligent."
"Dang it! Curse my brother's small brain!"
"I'm right here you know?!" He yelled.
As the trio continued on their journey through the mall Sumio was starting to get bored. And hungry.
After all that shopping all he wanted was a nice extra large size order of pop's ramen...
"Can we please go eat something?"
"You ate an hour ago!"
"It's noon! It means it's lunch time!" He pointed out.
"Fine." Haru sighed as Yōu flashed her a smile. "Let's go eat."
"Yousoro!" Sumio grinned as they headed off towards the ramen shop.
Upon entering, the owner greeted them. "Welcome! The usual?"
"You know it pops!" the basketball player sat on one of the stools, "Actually, make it two!"
"Coming right up!" he turned to the girls, "And you too as well?"
"Yep!" they responded.
"Sorry Yōu-senpai for making you come all the way out here." Haru bowed, "To thank you, Sumio will pay for your food, it's the least he could do."
Sumio spit out the water he was drinking, "Are you being serious?!"
"Well I'm not going to say no to free food..." Yōu nodded her head in Sumio's direction, "Especially since he's paying."
"What do you even have against me?" he murmured.
"Let's see... A lot of things actually." she counted her fingers, "For one, your very existence bothers me-"
"Okay okay you can stop now!" he covered his ears as Yōu laughed.
"I'm kidding I'm kidding..."
