Yōu Watanabe raced through the town not even stopping for red lights.

Which was probably the wrong decision as she maybe almost crashed a few times.

That didn't stop her though, it was her last school festival and she pretended to be sick. All because of her stupid self.

She knew enjoying the festival wasn't the only thing she wanted to do. She needed to talk to someone.

And she needed to talk to him quickly.

"Sorry, we're closed." Sumio said as someone walked into the room.

"Eh? But I have a special reservation." Someone spoke which caused Sumio to smile. "Dinner for one after hours."

"Didn't want to get recognized in the crowd?" Sumio said locking the classroom door as Kotori Minami sat down.

"It's hard being famous you know." Kotori pretended to faint.

"I'm surprised you even came up here. Usually I have to go down to Tokyo." He commented. "What'll it be?"

"The omurice." She closed the menu.

"Good, cause that's the only thing I know how to make." He said confidently.

"So what's the news with you?" Kotori took a sip of her water.

"I'm going to play basketball in Singapore next year." He explained.

"Woah, congrats! Maybe we'll both be famous." His cousin smiled.

"Not as famous as the famous pop idol Kotori Minami." Sumio replied mockingly.

"Someone's just jealous that we get to travel the world and have so many fans."

"I only need one fan to support me."

"Mmm, Yōu's her name right?" Kotori smirked. "The only girl you ever liked that rejected you."

"Shut up." He replied, "And she said we could start dating anyways so."

"You don't have to lie to your cousin you know?" She teased.

"It's true!" He yelled a bit too loudly.

"When's my food going to be ready?" She yawned.

"God you're so annoying." He rolled his eyes. "How long are you here for?"

"A week, I'm staying at your place. The rest of Muse will come to your graduation."

"That's going to be incredibly embarrassing. A small school like ours? And then the legendary Muse shows up?"

"You know you love it." She said as Sumio brought her the food.

There was a bit of silence while she ate. Then there was a knock on the door.

Sumio walked over and opened it. A man stood there.

"Are you Sumio Kobayashi?" He asked.

"Yes that's me." He said.

The man handed him a letter. "This is your official acceptance letter to South Singapore University."

(A/N I have no idea what university that is or even if it's a real university.)

"Thank you sir." He opened it.

"No no, thank you. By the way do you know who Yōu Watanabe is? I need to give her something as well."

"Huh? You need to give Yōu something?" He questioned.

"Yes, you see I don't just recruit basketball, I recruit all sports. And I was wondering if she'd be interested in studying there as well as part of our diving team. She's been on our list since she was in middle school."

Sumio looked in shock as the man presented another letter to him. "I trust that you'll find hee and give this to her for me." The man said before leaving. "See you soon."

The young third year stood in a daze for what seemed like an eternity.

Suddenly snapping back to reality he heard Kotori squeal in excitement.

"Go give it to her! Go go go!" She continued. "Hurry up!"

He still didn't know what was going on but next thing he knew he was sprinting towards her house. Looking for the silver-haired girl.

Yōu Watnabe arrived at the school. Gasping for air she looked around to see if she could spot him.

"Yōu!" A voice called to her.

She glanced up expectantly.

"I've been looking all over for you." Riko said running over.

"Me?"

"Yes you, now come with me, we need to talk."

"Um okay?" Yōu followed her friend.

They walked away from the business of the festival. It was almost sunset, the orange sky shined as they sat down beneath a tree.

"What did you want to talk about?" Yōu asked.

"Thank you." Riko smiled. "Thank you for trying to set me up for Sumio. But I think we both realize that Sumio doesn't think much of me."

"Riko no, I'm sure-"

"It's fine Yōu, I see the way you two are around each other. I've known this for a while now. I think the only ones who don't know are you two." She laughed.

"But-"

She stopped her friend. "No need for trying to help. I'm just glad you will be happy."

"R-riko…" Yōu muttered as her friend hugged her. "Thanks."

"Now go and find him, he should be here somewhere." Riko pointed at the school. "I think I saw him there."

"I wasn't looking for him!" Yōu lied, turning a bit red.

All Riko could do was laugh. "Just don't mess it up!"

"Thank you again Riko." Yōu stood up and ran inside.

She looked up and down the hallways for close to half an hour searching for him.

"Is that Yōu-chan?" Yōu looked up recognizing that voice.

"K-Kotori-san? What are you doing here?" She asked surprised.

"I was just dropping by to see my little cousin." The idol smiled. "But you probably already saw him right?"

"N-no… I came looking for him actually."

"Wait, you came here? While he went to your place?!" She gaped. "That idiot."

"Wait he went to see me?" She asked, "Are you joking with me right now… thank you Kotori!"

Yōu once again took off running.

She ran.

And ran.

And ran.

And ran some more.

Did I mention that she ran?

Until she stopped. And came face to face.

With Sumio Kobayashi...
