Haru Kobayashi stared at her brother as he furiously packed. Socks and shirts went flying everywhere as he frantically searched for his lucky pair of socks.

"Please tell me you're not the type of person who doesn't wash their lucky socks?" She asked slightly cringing.

"No no, that'd be weird." He replied. "My lucky socks are lucky because I've never worn them and they haven't been out the package."

He had just then found the socks and held them up proudly. They still freshly in the packaging. Haru couldn't help but face palm.

"Jeez why are you in such a rush to pack anyways? You don't even leave until Monday."

"Aren't you always the one who tells me to plan early?" He glanced at his perfect little sister.

"Ah... I know what it is..." She began to smile.

"It's because you found out Yōu was selected for the national team." Kotori burst through the door without knocking.

"Exactly." Haru agreed.

"It's not that! It's... um... because I want to be more responsible obviously!" Sumio responded defensively.

"Well, I guess it's no surprise. She is the best diver in the region. And possibly all of Japan. No wonder she was selected." Kotori said.

"My senpai is so awesome! I can't believe she would stoop so low and date my older brother." Haru fan-girled.

"I'm going to pretend that you didn't just tear my heart into five million pieces." Sumio said shedding a tear.

Sumio had pretty much sprinted all the way home after finding out Yōu was on the national team.

He didn't hesitate to tell his parents that he was going after her and began packing immediately.

The bright smile on his face hadn't left since he received the news.

After all... he was selected to play basketball for the national team as well.

"And you're bothered by it?" Tsuki's voice echoed throughout the room from Yōu's phone.

"Well, wouldn't you be bothered if your significant other didn't react the way you thought he would?" Yōu lay on her bed throwing a small rubber ball at her ceiling over and over and over.

She watched as the ball hit the same spot. She was puzzled by the way Sumio reacted. He didn't seem to care at all that she was leaving for the summer.

"It's not a big deal because you guys are going to be in Singapore right?" Tsuki asked. "One summer isn't that much."

"That's not really the problem. He seemed... happy?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well..." Yōu explained. "He was kind of smiling while I was telling him."

"Maybe he was-" Tsuki began.

"Waiting to cheat?!"

"N-no... maybe he was-"

"Happy to see me gone?!"

"That's not what I-"

"Am I that annoying Tsuki?! That my own boyfriend wants me to leave him?!"

"You're being annoying right now but-"

"I knew it! I'm gonna go teach him a lesson!"

"What would beating him up do?"

"I don't know but it'd make me feel better!"

"You done now?" Tsuki said pausing for a moment. "I was going to say maybe he was smiling because he was." She inhaled, "HAPPY FOR YOU!"
