I woke up hearing Bella rushing around. I yawned quietly as I slowly got up and moved to the closet trying to remember my plans for today until my eyes landed on the movies and that was when excitement filled me. I stared at my closet of the closet trying to decide on an outfit worthy of meeting his parents in that was also comfy for a movie marathon. I eventually decided on some black leggings, a white tank top, and blue and green flannel. I slipped on my white converses and threw a pair of fluffy fuzzy socks in the bag, just in case.
I brought the bag with me down to the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth and that was when we heard a quiet knock. Before I could say anything Bella flew down the stairs and to the front door. Supposedly she was having a little trouble because I could hear her jiggling with the lock to open it. I started brushing my teeth thinking of what to do with my hair as it hadn't hit me that Jasper may be here now. Until I felt a presence at the Bathroom door.
I turned and looked at Jasper casually leaning against the doorway smiling as He watched me brush my hair.
"Oh!" I let out a gasped my heart nearly stopping. "You scared me.." I mumbled and he chuckled, Obviously, I had momentarily forgotten he had very good hearing. I looked at him and weirdly enough He was wearing Black washed Jeans, A White v-neck t-shirt that hugged his chest, and a blue and green flannel over top, along with his leather Jacket that I kindly gave back to him yesterday after history class.
"Good morning," he said still chuckling. Looking me up and down, and made me blush. "Good Morning," I said quickly fixing my part to my normal left side and rolling up the sleeves. I threw on some mascara and called it a day. He picked up my bag as I moved to walk out to the hall, then to the stairs. once we got down I looked at the kitchen and then asked him.
"So umm, should I eat here or does your family want me to have breakfast there? I'm cool either way, just don't want to waste food." I asked nervously. He smiled and said "Mom, was searching pancake recipes when Edward and I left. I smiled at the sentiment and quickly grabbed my purse, phone and keys and started to the door, with Jasper right behind me.
Once outside I locked the house up and went down the now empty driveway to my car. "Where is Edward's car?" I asked confused about how they had got here. "We ran," he said, not leaving room for any other explanation I dropped the subject by nodding and handed him the keys as he had his hand out. He opened the door for me and closed it once I was in and flashed around to the driver's door getting in.
Once he pulled out of the driveway I started feeling extremely nervous, after a bit, I felt a warmth and fussiness, along with calmness added to the mixed which altogether was kind of complicated and Jasper started talking to me, though I was a bit stuck in my worries until he tapped me.
"Tiffany, what are you nervous about?" He asked, kindly but stern at the same time. Like how dad would when we were about to do something we weren't supposed to.
"What if they don't like me?" I asked, answering his question with a question of my own.
We were passing over the Calawah River bridge. heading up the winding road.
"Don't worry about that, Esme is making you breakfast at this mom, and Carlise is helping her. they are excited to meet you." He said calmly and slightly informative like this was all facts to him. "But what bout Rosalie?" I continued worrying more.
I looked out the window now noticing us turning onto an unpaved road.
"she likes you better than Bella." He stated as we pulled to a stop in front of the house.
There was a meadow as a lawn of the house. The house was gorgeous, and I could hear the river that was off somewhere nearby though at the same time I felt dread fill me as he lead me to the door.
"Do you like it?" Jasper asked.
"Yeah," I mumbled, taking deep breathes in and out.
He took my hand and we walked through the front porch. He opened the door and lead me in I walked in and slipped off my shoes and placed them where other shoes I saw on a long stool. I looked up and around to the spectacular room, with the high ceilings and white carpets. Finally, my eyes landed on Dr. and Mrs. Cullen.
Mrs. Cullen, Esme, I assumed, was the only one of the Cullen's I had not met yet and she was gorgeous, yet looked very motherly. She had a heart-shaped face and billows of soft caramel hair. They smiled at us in welcome but made no move to approach us, so I took a small step forward to set the scene of how I was comfortable around them, as they are.
"Carlisle, Esme," Jasper broke the small silence, "This is the famous, Tiffany."
I giggled quietly at how he said famously. "I'm not famous," I bantered.
"Well, we're happy to meet, one of the girls that our kids have been talking about," Carlisle says with a smile he approached me carefully taking a measured step holding out his hand. I shook it warmly.
"It's really nice to see you again, Dr. Cullen," I said sweetly, with a timid smile. Now overthinking my banter to Jasper.
"Please, call me Carlisle."
"Carlisle," I said in response, gaining much more confidence.
Esme smiled and stepped forward as well, reaching for my hand. I then decided that I was comfortable enough to give her a small hug and then pulled back to Jasper's side.
"It's wonderful to know you," She responded happily.
"Thank you, I'm glad to meet you as well," I said cheerfully.
"Where are Alice and Jack?" Jasper asked, however, no one answered, because Alice appeared, with Jack by her side. They were on top of the wide white staircase.
"Hey, Jasper!" Alice called enthusiastically. She ran down the stairs and stopped gracefully in front of me. Carlise and Esme seemed a bit worried until I hopped right up to her and threw my arms around her saying "You didn't tell me you were going to ditch me!" I smiled, keeping it at a joke. "Edward wouldn't give me enough time! Plus I had to meet Bella," She said smiling and we giggled together. "Fair, everyone seems to want to meet Bella, I get it." I smiled.
I looked around and Alice turns to Jasper and said "Esme finished Breakfast a bit ago, want to show Tiffany the way, Jake and I will get the movies and other stuff." Alice asked.
I turn to Jasper and he starts moving towards me and so I turn to Esme who started that way. He grabbed my hand and started leading me to the kitchen. I lead into him as we walked, not wanting to be parted from him.
When we walked into the kitchen I gasped. At the huge kitchen, it was gorgeous, I really wanted to bake in it now. Jasper had kissed my forehead and laughed as I geeked out in the kitchen, he lead me to the bar, sat me on a stool, then got onto the one next to me.
A plate of pancakes and eggs was set in front of me. I had nearly moaned at the taste of the pancakes smothered in maple syrup. I smiled up at Jasper as he unintentionally watched me eat gazing at me with an emotion in his eyes, no one had ever looked at me like he did.
Honestly, it made me want to kiss him. But I didn't know if it was too soon, or if I was the only one that fell the pull. I honestly have questions about this. Or is this normal, he feels like my soul mate. My other half and I have only known him for 2 months.
