I woke up in my bed feeling happy though I didn't want to leave my warm covers. I looked towards the small window to my right, which meant I had to turn all the way around. I sleep on my left side facing an empty wall. I notice that today compared to the rest there wasn't any fog veiling the window.
Knowing I should get up I pulled on some jeans and a red sweater, brushed through my ringlets and picked out the window. A layer of snow dusted Bell's truck, my car, and whitened the road. All the water on ;the needles have frozen making it a glorious winter wonderland, though for Bells and I this was going to be a nightmare walking to our cars.
Once I got my quick look I put on my favorite pair of fluffy socks and tied on some boots with extra grip. I went downstairs and started making a togo cup of hot chocolate, and ate some yogurt and a granola bar. Bella was eating cereal when I came down the stairs, and reminded me it was her turn to drive.
She looked really happy, and seemed to be excited about school. I asked her about it. "Just happy to go to school,'' sure I thought. But I allowed her to be happy for whatever reason, though I can't say too much. I'm dying to see Jasper Hale again.
Honestly watching me and Bella attempt to safely get into her truck would have made us win the funniest homemade video with all of our almost wipe outs, Bella had to use a side window to get in. Once I was in I glanced at my car to see chains on them and assumed there were some on the truck. I have to remember to thank dad for them tonight.
Once we got to school I stayed in my seat a little longer to do my usual before school check to make sure I had everything and I noticed Bella seeing the chains on her truck and she looked a little pale. It's always been her and I taking care of eachother, but now it's nice to know Dad is looking out for us as well.
I get out of the car and start to walk slowly toward her when I freeze after shutting the door. There was an odd shrieking sound, everything was happening so fast, I felt my self attempt to rush toward the back of the truck near Bella however I slipped slamming my back into the ground crying out in pain, I could see from under the truck a dark blue van, tires locked and squealing against the breaks. Heading straight towards Bella, the truck and I.
Bella being in the spot where she would get hit first.
"BELLA!" I screamed, my voice cracking in pain, Jasper was there to me inhumanly fast, but I didn't care. I need to get to Bella, he holds on to me as I can only see something stopping the van.
I was silent for one long second before there was a lot of screaming, I was scared to see Bella's dead body cried into Jasper's arms. I stopped immediately when I heard Bella's voice say ow.
Gripping the Jasper's hand tightly, I walked clumsily around the corner and there stood Edward and Bella, with Bella on the ground.
"How in the..." she starts "How did you get here so fast?" she asks Edward. I was curious what he was going to say as I had the same question, which brought me to looking at Jasper.
"How did YOU get here so fast?" I ask him "You were four cars down, you were standing with Alice and Jack."
"No Edward and I were walking up when you and Bella pulled in. I've been here the whole time."
We were interrupted by someone shouting "Don't move!"
Someone else should "Get Tyler out of the van!" and a rush of activity spreads around Bella and Tyler. Jasper pulls me back examining my head and back "Are you ok? How's your pain? That was a nasty fall." I smile at his seemingly protective nature.
"I think I'm fine, I probably will have a nasty bruise. Maybe help me carry my book bag instead of my wearing it?" I smiled sheepishly.
He chuckled, "Well good thing I am such a gentleman."
