Chapter 21

"Sign over the house!" I expected those words when he called me to his cabin but what I didn't expect is to see both Mohan Uncle and Pramod Uncle present to witness this scene.

"What? How can you ask him that? He bought it with his own money and you are going to let her get whatever she asks now." Pramod Uncle shouted at Dad while standing up from his place.

"I know she is not someone who lets go of things she wants but you can't do this to Vikranth. He is newly married and just think about how his wife would feel. She worked hard to make that house her home during these two months and now she has to let go of that house just because of someone's tantrum. How painful it would be for her?" Mohan Uncle asked in a calm tone but he too seemed to be angry but is controlling himself.

You need not worry about that matter, Uncle. All I need to do is make sure she gets a separate study room and that's all that will matter.

"I am fine with this." I said stopping them from saying anything else after coming over my surprise when Dad frowned at them for their words.

"When will you both listen to me completely before reacting this way?" He asked shaking his head and gesturing me to sit down.

"Sign over the house to my name and I will sign over my house to yours. It will be nothing but an exchange. I will go and stay with them in that house after the transfer and you can shift here with her." After he said those words, all three of us got stunned.

"Dad! No need to..." I stopped talking when he frowned at me and I realized he will not change his decision no matter what.

He called his secretary to let the person enter and we found the registration office person who is here to note down the details to prepare the documents immediately.

"Prepare them as soon as you can." He assured him that it will be over soon after hearing Dad's words and then left the cabin but I am still in shock.

Does he know what is he doing? Of course, he knows but why go to these lengths. I know the value of his house and the house I bought.

How can this be an exchange in any way? I thought frowning at the table in silence and turned to look at Pramod Uncle as he suddenly hit my shoulder.

"I should have known your Dad will never let anyone get cheated out and why would he do that to his own son if he can't let it happen to even strangers." He laughed before gesturing my Dad.

"I am sure he must have understood why you reacted that way as you just care for me, Uncle." I said following his prompt as usual.

Uncle need not worry about Dad getting upset over this at all. He never got upset over both of them ever for all these years and this is not the first time they both reacted first before understanding his actions.

Mainly Pramod Uncle who reacts with a drop of a hat before it even touches the ground. I walked out of the cabin as there is nothing else to do and continued to feel disturbed thinking how can I accept his house like this.

Now, Aunt will make an even bigger issue about this and it will be a trouble for Dad. I sighed rubbing my neck and composed myself by the time I stepped out of the elevator and found the two members I hired to look after the agency waiting for me.

I gestured them to follow me into my cabin and started discussing the promotion for the agency along with the rules and regulations that will be followed.

"We heard Ms. Anny's web series will release a teaser soon as per our sources. It is best to introduce the agency at that time." I shook my head in negative at that suggestion.
