Chapter 41

"No!" I replied calmly and continued to do my work while she scoffed.

"What do you mean by rejecting my words? Do you look down on such things? Don't you wear them yourself?" She asked scoffing back in the male voice she switched over and even closed the camera from her side.

She opened it for a few minutes that day and then closed it saying, there will be an issue if she opens it and told me not to ask the reason behind it.

She didn't talk about how the business will be run or how it will be shared but just asked me to not ask her anything relating to her life and in return, I requested the same from her. So, we just have that one common condition for now.

"I don't! I just wear these." I said gesturing to myself.

"Seriously? Track pants and a shirt for sleeping? I feel sad for your husband." She mumbled and I paused to stare at the screen.

"Fine! I will not judge but you need to follow this and that's an order. If you don't then I will not join you at all." She added to which I nodded.

"Okay! No need to!" I mumbled before finishing the last stitch and showed the dress to her.

"It's good! You need to adjust a bit near the hand." She commented and I nodded before concentrating on that.

"I am glad that you are fine with me not joining you in your future company and that is the main reason I finally accepted but you shouldn't ignore me like this." She pointed out and I sighed before finishing the change she mentioned.

I kept the dress aside before staring at the screen with a serious look, "I never wore a night dress and I don't think I will do a good job. I need not make every kind of cloth ever and I can ignore a few things. And even if I want to make one, I don't know how can I find a model to check how it works. I can't go to my classmates and ask someone to model for me wearing that, right? And you are actually asking me to learn sexy nightwear."

"You can be the model." She offered while I rubbed my forehead.

"And I don't know why you think you can ignore some kinds of things in this business. You need to learn everything and that will help us to reach heights." She added.

She continued to talk about the competition I have to face in the future and how I shouldn't have any weaknesses and after a few minutes, I reluctantly nodded.

"Fine! But you shouldn't leave me to do it completely like men's wear. I need your guidance completely." I asked and she accepted immediately.

I started drawing the outline while following her instructions and after an hour, I was able to draw a simple design.

"See? Isn't that easy? Now, try again and I need a different design. Also, I will give you an address and you can go to buy the material suitable for this from that place." She continued with her instructions while I concentrated on the design.

As I need not go to classes after a week because I will be writing the exams during this week itself, she suggested to add more time for our classes and also to arrange for the timings whenever she can attend. So, from next week, there will be no specific timings but will have class whenever she can take one.

The next day, I followed her instructions and bought the material before checking the balance on the card that I can use.

I stared at the amount and realized that he added the whole amount that I spent for the party. At least I didn't lose any money over this matter, I took the bags and walked out of the store.
