*Kanika Pov*
When I came downstairs with my luggage, I found the professor and her team but they don't have their luggage with them.
"Good Morning, Kanika! Are you going somewhere?" Madam asked looking at me.
"Aren't we going back, Madam?" I asked and she shook her head before pointing at another group standing away from us.
"They have invited us to join them for a trip to the famous designer houses here. So, go and keep your luggage back in the room." She said gesturing me to go back.
"I..." I opened my mouth but closed it thinking this will be a good experience and so I followed her instructions and rushed back to not let them wait longer.
While I was traveling with them, I mailed Han about this so that she will not schedule any classes.
I stayed silent but tried to observe everything and tried to note down any new things I heard so that I can discuss them with Han.
For the whole day, we roam around but not just to the designer houses but also to a few malls and restaurants.
"Let's stop for today and finish it up tomorrow." Madam suggested and I nodded feeling tired with all this.
In the past, I was able to keep up with moving around for a whole day but because of the way I am living for the past year, I am no longer capable of doing that.
I have to thank Vikranth for letting me enjoy that comfortable life and... I stopped before glancing at the found and stared at the missed calls I got from him yesterday.
He must be talking about that day's incident and will apologize for it. I will accept it of course as I know he never does these things intentionally to hurt me.
However, knowing is different from accepting and so I am not ready to accept his actions like this. I will just accept his apology and let go of the matter.
Anyway, not much time is there for this contract to end. I continued to stare at his number before clicking on it.
"Hello!" he greeted lifting it in the third ring.
"I am still out of the station and don't know when will I return." I explained and he stayed silent after hearing those words.
"Kanika! About that day, I didn't mean it." He mumbled and I looked down before glancing at the fellow group still trying on the scarfs.
"I know! Just forget about it and I will try my best to not say a word to any of your family members from now on." I promised in a calm tone.
"Okay! I need to go." Saying that I cut the call as Madam waved me over.
After the shopping, we had dinner and returned to the hotel. I called Anitha remembering that I didn't watch her interview as I was tired to even keep my eyes open.
"It's okay, Kani! I am glad at least one person didn't see my embarrassing moment." She said sighing when I apologized for not watching her interview.
"Why? What happened?" I asked her frowning.
"I mean, when I was doing the interview I was fine and was answering normally but they suddenly played that old commercial of mine with GH. Do you remember the moment I had a crush on Prathap? They played that and without me realizing, I gave the same expressions and even answered honestly to their questions that I had a crush on him at that time." She explained.
"Didn't you ask them to cut that part?" I asked sitting up.
"I asked them to and they even agreed but their channel head didn't allow it and let it air." She whispered.
