'I should stop drinking over my limit.' That was the first thought I had when I got consciousness and felt like someone is squeezing my head.
I sighed trying to turn around to get the tablet from the left side bed drawer without opening my eyes but found that I am not able to move freely.
I opened my eyes only to find that my head is right now tucked under her chin and we are holding each other and I am even lying down with my head on her other hand. I removed my hand from her waist but found her hold on my back is not light and if I move she will wake up for sure.
With a sigh, I closed my eyes again already remembering a few instances from yesterday but the main point is that there is a high chance for her to know to whom those tombstones belong.
I was not on my guard also to not say anything that shouldn't be said. But it will be an issue if she finds out anything other than these matters.
After a few seconds, I felt her hold loose, and then she placed a hand on my forehead before releasing a sigh.
When she continued to move and even got down from the bed, I opened my eyes to stare at her back while she is stretching and moving her hand as if in pain.
Then I shifted my eyes around to find I am not in my room. I sat up which paused her actions and she turned to stare at me.
"How are you feeling?" She asked looking at my face.
"Headache and body pains! Why am I in your room?" I asked staring at her while trying to keep my eyes open as the pain just increased and I am unable to keep them open because of the pain.
"I thought you wouldn't appreciate someone entering your room without your permission. So, I brought you here." She explained while I blinked at her reply.
"I caused you trouble. Why would I not appreciate it?" I mumbled rubbing my head and glanced down to see the attire that is definitely not mine.
"Don't worry! Those are new only and you changed into them yourself." She commented while I am continuing to stare at the design.
"I caused you trouble. Why would I worry about that? And I remember a few things." I replied and moved to get down from the bed and she didn't say anything more.
When I reached the door, I paused and turned to stare at her before saying, "Yesterday..."
She cut me off saying, "What about yesterday? I just brought you from that place where I couldn't see anything and helped you into this room. Just don't drink at any place you want to. You can drink at home and need not find such places next time."
I stared at her in silence while she uttered those words in a hurry before walking towards the cupboard and I couldn't say a single word after that.
When I returned to my room, I checked for my phone and then I remember that I left it in the car yesterday to not get disturbed by any phone calls.
I sighed and freshened up by dragging myself as I really want to sleep longer than go to work but I had already taken a day off.
After getting ready, I climbed down the stairs and found her walking towards the kitchen but stopped to pick up a call.
"Hello!" I continued to walk towards the dining area but paused hearing her next words.
"Uncle? He is resting as he got a fever. His phone... must be switched off. I will let him know after he wakes up." I immediately took the phone from her hand.
