Chapter 31

"You look so happy these days that I don't feel like taking classes. Can you stop being so excited about the classes?" I paused my list of doubts I had after trying her recent lesson on my own.

"What?" I asked her frowning.

"I am just happy that all the lessons are going well and now the speed of finishing a complete dress is taking not even a week." I pointed out.

"So, are you going to open your own brand and just work on dresses for your whole life? From when is designing limited to dresses?" She asked back and I bit my lip not knowing how to reply to that.

"By next week, I need you to design a men's attire and also finish stitching by yourself after taking another week's time." She added while I sat there stunned.

"What? You didn't teach me anything relating to that. All I know is what I heard from the academy and I never tried to work on one." I explained but she continued to give orders.

"Han!" I called her name and she sighed but at least stopped talking on her own.

"Try it! If you don't try it, then how can you know? In the future, for everything that wasn't taught to you, will you just give up?" She asked and I frowned hearing those words.

"Okay!" I mumbled realizing she is right and it's not like she can teach me each and everything and if I learn like that then I don't deserve to aim high at all.

After the class, I continued to sit in the study and searched for tutorials on men's clothing designs and also took out the notes for the topic from the academy.

When it was past 12, I didn't even draw a single line on the paper as I don't understand how to go about it.

I got startled hearing a knock on the door and opened it to find Vikranth frowning at me. I gave him a confused look to which he sighed before showing the time and date on his phone.

"Oh right! Today is the release of the new episode." I mumbled and he nodded after which he turned around to leave.

I followed him out and we both got settled on the couch as there are just a few minutes before the episode will air.

"Thanks for reminding me otherwise I would have to wait for three days to watch it." I said glancing at him.

"I need you to analyze it, right? Also, I know you wouldn't want to wait to watch this." He replied and I smiled hearing those words.

It's good to be friends I guess as he is not saying or doing anything that would just give awkwardness or any kind of hurt.

"Is something wrong? You stayed longer in the study room today." He asked glancing at me.

"Just some assignment but I am not sure how to do it." I explained and he nodded before unmuting the television.

"Let me know if you need any help." Saying that he concentrated on the episode while I just stared at him for a few extra seconds and then turned my attention to the television.

What I didn't expect was the episode to take a different direction but I am so happy because the star of this episode is Anitha's acting.

She is going to be even more popular after this as she showed such raw emotions and such different from what she was showing till now that I am sure her fans must be crazy about this episode for sure.

I couldn't help but continue to smile even though the episode was emotional. I am so happy that she met Vikranth and got this chance.

I can't even imagine how her life would have been if she had stayed in her previous agency itself. Those people wouldn't have let her get any chance for sure.
