~Amelia~
The process of having her blood taken was rather painless. Visually, Amelia's blood looked the same as it always had, a deep crimson red. However, with her new healing abilities, she knew some of her genes would be irrevocably changed. But the most fascinating thing about Amelia being pricked with a needle was watching the hole in her arm seal itself up almost immediately.
"Fascinating," Hange commented. Their face was only a few inches away from Amelia, their breath tickling the hairs on her arm.
"I've never seen anything like it," the doctor said, truly in awe. "Well, apart from Eren." He chuckled, grabbing the vials of Amelia's blood and safely placing them into a rack to hold them. "Here, Hange," he offered.
Swiftly, Hange ripped their eyes away from Amelia's arm. A large grin took over their features at the sight of Amelia's blood. "Thanks for your time, doc. I'll let you know the results- if I'm allowed," Hange winked at him. Amelia wasn't sure if she was comfortable with Hange going around and telling people willy-nilly about what's in her blood. She hoped that Erwin would deem the information as classified.
"No worries, Hange. If Amelia's feeling well, I'll see myself out. I'm sure Nurse Gott will need my assistance by now," the doctor chuckled.
"I'm doing fine, thank you. I'm pretty much already healed so I don't want to keep you from your work any longer," Amelia reassured him. In truth, she wanted the doctor to get out of there so she herself could leave as soon as possible. The stress from the whole blood testing had exhausted her. She would rather go back to the mouldy dungeons than spend another moment being experimented on.
The doctor bid us farewell and scuttled out of the room.
"Well, I need to get started on analysing your blood before it starts to go bad. I suppose we can call it here for today. I would like to compare yours and Eren's healing abilities, but we can save that for another day."
"Thank god," Amelia heard Eren wheeze out. He obviously hadn't been in the mood for any testing just like Amelia.
"That sounds great, Hange." Amelia got to her feet, testing for any dizziness. It had been over five years since she'd last had a blood test. She wasn't one prone to fainting but that could have very well changed in that time.
Luckily, Amelia was completely fine which meant they could finally leave. Levi had reached the door first, pushing it open vigorously. Amelia glanced back at Hange who had already grabbed the blood and was starting to prepare it for analysis. Not bothering to say goodbye, Amelia followed Levi and Eren through the door.
"Corporal!" Eren paid his respects and then scurried off. Amelia felt like doing the same. But first, Mother Nature was calling to her.
"Corporal," Amelia got his attention, "I'd like to head to bed after all of that excursion," she watched as Levi's eyes lit up. "But first, I need to visit the bathroom," Amelia added this one to her list of things she never thought she would say to her favourite character.
Levi cringed at her request. "Fine," he spat at her.
Levi and Amelia meandered over there quickly as she was quite desperate. Levi perched himself on the wall opposite the door. He gave her an impatient look as if to say 'Hurry it up'. The urge to be painfully slow crossed her mind but angering humanity's strongest soldier probably wasn't the best idea she'd ever had. So, she picked the nearest stall and locked herself in.
Amelia was about to start doing her business when she heard footsteps outside of the door. "Occupied," she told the person that she was using the stall.
