~Amelia~
Amelia jolted awake to the sound of the doors to the dungeon creaking open. She's been so exhausted from the last forty-eight hours that she couldn't even remember falling asleep. A loose spring was pinching her lower back so, she forced herself out of bed. Surprisingly, her injury from yesterday was feeling much better. The sharp pain from last night had been replaced with a dull ache. She wasn't sure if the pill she hadn't taken before she'd fallen asleep was still in effect but, she wasn't going to complain about the lack of pain.
Amelia's head snapped to the hallway as footsteps echoed off the frigid stone walls. They gradually approached before stopping in front of her cell. Levi's icy gaze instantly made her straighten, fix her hair and look ready to leave.
"Good morning, Corporal," Amelia greeted, pulling her shirt down that had ridden up during the night.
Levi shook his head at her in disapproval. He juxtaposed greatly against her current appearance sharply with his pristine uniform and perfectly slicked-back hair. In her defence, how was she supposed to wake up on time with the lack of light and look presentable with no bathroom?
Grabbing the keys from his hip, Levi unlocked the door to her cell. "Breakfast is just about to be served," he announced, "but let's take you to the bathrooms first." Amelia followed him out of the darkness gladly.

During breakfast, Levi begrudgingly let Amelia know that Erwin had accepted her offer and was available to meet her this morning. She could sense that he wasn't enjoying having to pass messages between the two of them, so she made a mental note to not do it again.
She was also grateful that Levi had given her some time this morning to clean herself up. Negotiating with Erwin Smith was arduous enough without having to worry about your stupidly long hair sticking up in random places.
It had been a while since Amelia had cut it. There were no mirrors outside of the Walls, only the wobbly reflection of herself in a brisk river. Which had ended with her cutting one side shorter than the other and Furlan ridiculing her for it until it had grown out again. After that instance, she was reluctant to cut it herself again. However, it was always getting in her eyes and that could mean life or death during a fight. So, Amelia decided that the next time she had access to a mirror and scissors, she would redeem herself and ensure that her hair wasn't her downfall.
Erwin's office was located on the top floor of the survey corps, out of the way of the main hullabaloo of all of the soldiers carrying out their daily routines. After they arrived, Levi knocked on the door three times and waited to be called in.
"Enter," Erwin's voice bellowed.
There wasn't much to distinguish Erwin's office from Levi's. They were almost equally neat, except Erwin's was much more inviting. Levi's had a coldness to it only second to his personality. Feeling much more at ease, Amelia let out a relieved sigh.
Upon entry, Levi darted towards the sofa and sat himself down as if he had claimed it as his own. Amelia took the hint, sitting down on the empty chair beside him.
"Good morning, Levi. Thank you for bringing Amelia here," Erwin greeted with a sweet smile. Levi gave him no response.
Erwin didn't bother engaging with Levi anymore and instead gave Amelia his full attention. Raising from his desk, Erwin came over to join them.
