Chapter 4

Dimitri POV

"DIMITRI!" I look over and see Lissa running over to me.

"Is there something you need."

"We are planning a trip to go camping and we need you to come and guard us."

"When are we leaving?" I would do anything for Lissa.

"In an hour." She laughs.

"I'll go get ready."

"Sorry for not giving you more time and Alberta is coming with us to."

Then she speeds off. I would love to take Rose camping. Why can't I forget her? She's probably forgotten me. I start heading towards my house.

When I open my door, I feel a gust of wind. I look over and see that my window is open. It wasn't open when I left. My stake is in my hand and ready to attack. Then I look over and see a note on my bed.

There coming for you

What the hell is this.

Rose POV

We head back as fast as possible. When we return my dad is already waiting for us. I get out of the car and walk over to him.

"It was set up from the beginning. I need to leave."

He looks shocked.

"Rose you know what that means. They'll never let you leave again."

"I understand the consequences. But I need to save my friends. All of the strigoi will be after them, I can't sit back and watch. I hope you can understand."

"Rose I love you. Please go find the team, so you can be safe. Tell you mom I say hi."

"Thanks dad."

"Your mom is going to give me hell, once she finds out I've been hiding you."    We both laugh. I don't give a shit about her. She hasn't tried to reach me and I'm not trying to reach her.

I go and look for my crew. My dad said he assembled the best of the best. The organization my dad runs has both moroi and dhampir. My team had 2 dhampir and 2 moroi, I've caught with them before. The dhampirs are twins, Jake and Blake. There pretty good in a fight, but I'm at the top of the class. The moroi are a girl and a boy, Jessica and Brian.

Once my crew is all ready we head to the jet. Then Tim runs up to me.

"Rose! Wait!"

"What?"   I try to say in my "I need to go" tone.

"Please be careful. I hope to see you again, I would hate to lose you."

"I will and I'll miss you to. Goodbye Tim."    We quickly hug. I really like Tim. Why won't I date him? He the perfect man strong, tall, intelligent, kind, and a great person to be hang out with.

"Goodbye, Rose"     I see a frown come on his face. I know he likes me, it's sad I don't like him back in that way.

"Try not to miss me to much. Go out, have fun. Ok?"     He smiles.

"Rose I'll never stop missing you. Every man who would forget such a beautiful face is crazy. Rose come back safely. Here, take this with you. You'll remember the good times we shared when you look at it." 

I look down and see a monopoly game piece. It the car piece, my favorite. When I first came here, we would just play monopoly. It kept me happy and it was the way we bonded through the game that I knew I wanted him to be my partner. I look up at him and give home one last hug.

"I'll miss you and I could never forget such a smart ass mouth like you." Then I turn and go onto the plane. I put the monopoly piece in my pocket. Tim ment so much to me.

"He's fallen for you hard."  I look up and see Jake looking at me.

"Tell me about it." He laughs.

Once everybody is on the plane I speak up.

"Everybody listen up, our secret intelligence has informed us that the group is going camping. We will keep a safe distance away from them and guard the perimeter at all times. Do you understand?"

I hear a lot of "Yes mam" 

Then I decide to take a nap. What will happen when I see Dimitri? What is going on with Sasha? Why did I have feeling for Sasha already? This is some messed up bullshit. Then I pass out.
