Chapter 36

Rose POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As we're getting ready to leave, I walk up to Edward and grab his hand. He looks down at me caringly.

"Hi sweetheart."

"Hey. This will be postponing are wedding a little bit. Is that ok with you?"

I'm ok with it.

"Yes, I'm ok with it. I just can't wait until we're married."

He lifts me up and swings me around. We're both smiling at each other, when someone coughs. We turn our heads to see Edwards second in command. Josh.

"We're ready to move out, sir."

"Ok. Tell everyone well be leaving in five minutes."

Before he leaves, he turns to me

"Christian has requested to come with us on the mission. Is that ok?"

"Yes."

Christian wants revenge. I want revenge. The strigoi want to kill everyone. This will be perfect.

When we're alone again, I reach up and kiss Edward a quick kiss.

"There's a dhampir that would willing come here with us. Is it ok if we take him here with us?"

"It depends. We can take him here, but then we have to do backround checks and interrogate him. Is their someone you have in mind?"

"Yes. He's the one who told me where Lissa and Dimitri are. I trust him."

"Well, we have to go."

We walk hand in hand as we walk to the plane. We see Galina up ahead, giving a quick speech.

"Your mission is to capture the queen. As tempting as it might be, you will not kill her. Bring her back here, so we can watch her die all together. You may take some hostage, for blood slaves. Good luck."

Then everyone piles into the plane and we take off. I look over and I see Christian. He looks like he's having the time of his life. I decide to sit on Edwards lap and take a nap.

I'm coming for you Lissa.

After a three hour plane ride, we finally arrive. We're about a fifteen minute run away from court. We decide to attack in groups. Me and Edward will be going the back way in. I know exactly where Lissa's room is.

Let the hunt begin

We all begin running and some of us let out some growls. I love the thrill of the chase. I can see court from a distance. It looks empty.

Because most of the people are already dead.

Once we reach the fence they all jump over it, but me and Christian have to climb. The alarms start to go off and we all laugh. We start seeing some guardians come out but, the strigoi are to powerful for them. Then we all split up. Me and Ed dash for Lissa's room. It takes about ten minutes to get to the room.

I see Mikhail when we arrive.

"Edward, this is my informant."

They nod heads.

"Their in there."

"Thanks Mikhail. Wait here."

I put my head against the door and I hear screaming. Shit. I forgot. This is there honeymoon. They're probably having sex right now.I take a deep breath and I slam the door open.

I hear scream room that away. Me and Edward points our gun right at them. Like I predicted, their both naked. But there covering themselves with a blanket.

"What the hell Rose? Why are you here?"

Me and Ed laugh.

"Get clothes on and stand up!"

They flinched at my sound of authority. But they both get their clothes on. Then someone starts talking through my earpiece.

"Rose we've killed everyone. We took about sixty prisoners, to have as blood slaves."

It's Josh.

"Ok. Take them to the plane. We will be there soon."

I look at Edward and he nods his head at me. I walk up to Lissa and put handcuffs on her.

"What the hell do you think your doing? I am your queen!"

I punch her right in the face.

"You are no queen to me!"

I punch her again and she already has bruises on her. She starts to cry.

"Edward take her away."

"Where the hell are you taking me?"

She yells and it echoes throughout the room. Before I have a chance to speak, Edward beats me.

"Shut the hell up!"

Lissa immediately stops crying and looks terrified. Me and Edward smile at eachother. I wish we could kill her now. But orders are orders.

Then a gun goes off. Dimitri. I fall down to my knees and put my hand on the hole in my stomach.

When I look up, I see Edward sprint to Dimitri. I hear him growl.

"You deserved it Rose!"

I can't believe Dimtri said that.

As darkness surrounds me, I hear a crack. Then Dimitri falls to the ground lifeless. Edward snapped his neck. Then I feel someone's arms pick me up.

"Rose stay with me!"

"She's lost to much blood. She's not going to make it."

Lissa speaks honestly.

Then my eyes close.

"I'm sorry I have to do this Rose."

Then I black out.
