It feels like it's been weeks, since I've been taken. But really, it's only been three days. I thought Edward would've found me by now.

I guess I was wrong.

Edward has the best army in the world. They can track anyone. Why can't they track me?

I want my daughter back. I don't want to abandon her.

"Your awake. It's so nice to finally meet you. The famous killer."

"What do you want with me?"

I don't dare to look up at my captor. He took me away from my child.

"I want you to stay with us. Forever."

"What would I do?"

"You would kill our enemies. Become our ultimate weapon."

"I've heard that before."

I think to myself for a while. If I stay, I could make it seem like I'm dead. No one would try to capture me. I could change everything about me. I could tell them to spread the world, that Rose Hathaway is dead.

I would have to leave my daughter. I would have to leave my husband.

Could I leave them?

Maybe one day, I'll see them again.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Derek. I'm the alpha of this pack."

"Alpha?"

"Rose if you stay, I'll tell you everything."

"Derek, I need you to promise me something."

I look up into his eyes. His gorgeous blue eyes.

"Anything for you."

"I need you to promise me that you won't hurt my daughter. I need you to ensure my daughter's safety."

"I promise."

"I need you to make me forget. Make me forgot my husband. Can you do that for me? Please, I want a fresh start in life."

"I can do that for you. Are you going to stay?"

"Yes. Where will I be staying?"

"In the pack house."

"You sure have some explaining to do."

"All in time."

He leads me to the door and we exit. Outside there are people all around. They all look at me with hungry eyes.

I turn to look into Derek's eyes. I feel this weird connection between us, but I don't know how to explain it.

"Follow me."

We walk to this place that looks like a shop. But when we enter, I have this weird feel go through me. A woman walks up to me and nods.

"What do you need alpha?"

"She wants parts of her memory erased."

"Just tell me what you want to forgot and I will do it."

"I don't want to remember my husband. I want to remember my child, but I just want to remember that she's living at a boarding school. I want to forgot everything that happened at the strigoi headquarters. I want to forget all of the pain in my life."

"Consider it done. After this you'll pass out and then you'll wake up. Don't worry, I've done this before, nothing bad will happen."

"Thank you. Derek I want you to be beside me, when I wake up. Do you understand?"

"Yes. I'll be there."

"I'm ready. Do it."

I lay down on a table and Derek grabs my hand.

"I better not regret this."

"I won't let anything happen to you."

They lady puts her hands on my head and begins to chant something. I shriek out in pain, then it goes away. I feel nothing. No pain. No emotion.

Then I let darkness consume me.

I will see you again one day Adaline

I promise.
