Leaving it all behind (Watty's 2015)

Chapter 5

Rose POV

I wake up to someone shaking me. I'm on high alert.

"What's happening?"    I look up and see Jessica above me.

"Rose you've been screaming and shaking for the past 10 minutes! Did you have a nightmare?"

She looks genually concerned for me. Then I remember everything. My nightmare, I only have them when I'm on planes. They usually mean that something bad is going to happen. This one began with me in a forest. I look around and see all of my friends around me. All dead. I was  to late. How could this happen? I promised myself that I would save them. I failed. Lissa, Christian, Adrian, Alberta, and Dimitri all dead. I was her guardian. "They come first"  I didn't listen. I look up and see a strigoi staring at me.

"Times up."      What  the hell. I look at his red eyes and pale white skin. Why was my time up? Then he springs at me.

"You should've chosen to be awakened. You chose wrong and now you'll die."   I don't go down without a fight. He runs at me and pushes me over. I look at myself and see that he cut me.

"You basterd."   I take out my stake. I run at him and stab him in the heart. Then I look up and see  that I stabbed Tim. What's going on?

"Tim! I'm so sorry. Someone help!"   I start crying. No, this can't be happening.

"How could you? You should've chosen me. Instead you kill me."  

"Tim, I'm sorry. Please don't leave me."  Then his eyes shut. What the hell is going on. Then I scream. This isn't suppose to happen. I was suppose to save them all. Not lose them all. Then I wake up.

"I'm sorry Jessica, it's nothing."    She looks like she doesn't believe me, but I'm not going to explain everything to her.

"How much longer?"  I ask hoping that she'll forget what just happened.

"One more hour, until drop."   Wow, I was out for 6 hours.

"Thanks, tell everyone to get ready."  We'll be jumping off the plane. About five miles away from were they'll be camping.

"Already on it. If you ever need to talk to someone, I'm more than willing."  We smile at each other and then she leaves. I stand up and go grab my parachute. I've done this before so I know what to do. It's quite fun actually, but it's pitch black outside. This was more difficult. We are hoping that we all land in a clearing. I look around and see my whole team is ready.

"Everybody listen up, drop is in 5 minutes. Everyone will turn on there tracker and we'll meet up all together. Understand?"

Everybody says "Yes mam" Then we all jump. I'm coming for you Lissa.

Dimitri POV

We all pile into a black SUV. Lissa, Christian, Adrian, Alberta, and me. We'll be in cloudy area. So they don't get burned. I feel good for getting out of the court. It's always busy there. This place is known for being very safe. So me and Alberta will be able to enjoy ourselves a little.

We arrive at the camp and its nice. It looks and feels like home. I wish I could see my mom and my.family, but the moroi come first. My mom sometimes writes to me and I her. She says that everything is good and that they want to see me and Rose. At first they didn't know that she left, but I told them it was because of me. I was so foolish. We all go and put our stuff away in our cabins. There simple but nice and then we go make dinner, then sit by the fire. We all talk and then go our seperate ways. But then I see something in the sky. I barely see it, it's so small. It looked like a group of parachutes. One of the parachutes is orange and its the easiest to see, since its getting dark. I look over at Alberta. I point at the parachutes.

"Who do you think that is?"  

"I have no idea. Do you think we should check it out? We could ask Lissa to put up a spell for a little bit, so they'll be safe."    She nods her head.

"Let's go, better safe than sorry."  After they put a spell up we leave. Who would jump out of a plane into a camping area?
