Chapter 32

Rose POV

I wake up from my peaceful sleep and I sit up. Everything seems so peaceful. Then there's a knock on the door.

"Come in!"

Who could be bothering me, so early in the morning?

"Sorry to bother you, but you've been requested in Galina's office."

"I'll be right there."

I quickly get clothes on and head down to the library. What could she want? I knock on the door and enter.

"Hello, Galina."

"Hello, darling! Please sit."

I sit down, across from her.

"Is there something you needed?"

"I need to explain some stuff for you. First, Sasha is finally stable with his emotions again. Second, you need to make your desicion by tomorrow. It'll either be Edward or Alexander. I have talked to both of them, they both would be happy to be with you. You'll be going on a date with each of the men and you'll have to that time to decide."

"I'm sorry that I'm not with your son any more. When are the dates?"

"I've told you already dear, it's completely fine. They dates are today. The first one will be with Alexander, that one is in two hours. Then Edward, his date will be an hour after Alex's. You have two hours with each man, you may talk to me if you need any advice."

"Thanks, Galina. I hope you'll be happy with the choice I make."

"I already know that you'll pick the man that's perfect for you. Now go get ready for your date."

I go to my room and I see a dress on the bed. It's beautiful. It's a mid-thigh length dress, dark red, one strap, it looks gorgeous. I put the dress on and do all of my make up.

"Let's go do this."

I mutter to myself, as I head down to the dining room. The long table is gone and has been replaced by a short two person table. I see Alex sitting there patiently. When he sees me, he immediately stands up. He pulls out my chair and I sit down.

"Thanks, Alex."

"Don't mention it."

He smiles at me.

"Thanks for agreeing to go on a date with me. This has been a really tough experience."

"I completely understand and I hope that you male the right choice."

"Could you tell me about yourself?"

He nods his head and begins talking.

"I dated one girl, but we broke up before anything serious happened. My parents are dead, so I only have my brother. My favorite human food is hot dogs. I don't really listen to music. I like going on walks and seeing nature. As much as I hate moroi and dhampir except you, I don't like killing people."

Holy Shit! We're complete opposite of each other. For starters, I've dated lots of guys. My parents are alive. I don't have any siblings. My favorite food is steak, not disgusting hot dogs! I listen to music everyday of my life, I can't live without it. I love running and working out. I love to kill. I'm one of the best killing machine's there is around.

We eat lunch in silence. How could I choose someone who's complete opposite from me?

We talk more about each other and I pretend to be interested, when he starts talking about politics. Someone knocked on the door, when our time was up.

"Thanks you for spending your afternoon with me, Alexander."

He kisses the back of my hand.

"The pleasure was all mine."

He's such a gentleman. So nice, kind, and respectable. I leave the room, leaving Alex all alone. I go to my room to freshen up and then I leave to head down to see Edward. The man who separated me and Sasha. I enter the room and there I see him.

Damn.

He looks good in a suit.

"Hello, Rose. You look stunning."

He pulls me to him and kisses me on the cheek. It sends electricity through my whole body.

"You look very handsome to."

We both sit down and we just stare at each other.

"Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you look?"

Let's talk about the important stuff.

"Edward could you please tell me about yourself."

"Of course! I have dated a little bit, my last relationship ended five years ago. I haven't dated anyone since then, she ended really badly. My dad is still alive, but my mom is dead. I had one sister, but she was killed in battle. I love working out, it's the best stress reliever for me. I lead all of our battles, so I love to fight. Is that enough?"

"Yes, that's enough."

He's everything I want and need. He seems like the perfect strigoi for me.

"Are girls always throwing themselves at you?"

He laughs.

"They used to. But I would just scare them off. They don't bother me anymore."

We eat our food and we continue to talk, until our time is up.

"Its been a pleasure spending the evening with you, Rose."

He kisses the back of my hand.

"Me to."

We both smile at eachother.

I jump on my bed and sigh. This was a fun day. Then I fall asleep happily.

Thinking about the man of my dreams.
