Chapter 31

Rose POV

Me and Christian are at the dining table and he hasn't spoken a word.

"Christian, what would you like to know?"

"Why aren't they killing us?"

He looks like he's in complete shock.

"They've been ordered not to. I know it seems crazy, but it's the truth."

"Rose, who's your ex boyfriend?"

"His name was Sasha. I dearly loved him, but I made a mistake and he ended it."

"I think Alexander likes you. Why don't you ask him out?"

"I'm suppose to find someone to be with for eternity. I have now two options to choose from, Alex and Edward. I'm running out of time to choose, but I just want to make sure that I choose the right person."

"Are they going to change you Into a strigoi?"

"Yes."

"Rose, is this what you want?"

Do I really want this? Do I want to become a strigoi?

"Yes. But really in the end, I don't have a choice."

He looks sad.

"I'm really sorry, Rose. I should've been on your side from the beginning. I feel terrible, for everything I've took part of."

I hold his hand.

"It's ok, Christian. Nothing is going to happen to you as long as your with me."

We stop talking for a while and eat our dessert. It delicious.

"So Rose, who's Edward."

"He's the captain of the strigoi army. He's really nice and kind. But he's the reason Sasha left me. Edward kissed me, Sasha was there, and now we're here."

"I hope you make the right choice. Make sure you get to know them very well and then make your decision. Maybe go on a date with both of them and see who would be better for you."

"Thanks Christian."

I give him a hug and pull back. I really miss talking to people I know. I've been such a coldhearted person, I really needed to talk to someone.

"I can show you were you room is. If your good, you get to keep the room. If your bad, you'll be sent to the dungeon again. Goodnight, Christian."

"Goodnight, Rose."

I head back to my room and I jumped on my bed. I can't believe that I lost Sasha. How could I be so stupid? Should I be with Edward or Alexander? I decide to turn off the lights and go to sleep.

I'll hopefully figure out everything tomorrow.
